Three Cups and a Dash Podcast

SPEAKER_03

Hi everybody, Stacy here from Three Cups and a Dash of Spirituality. This week on our podcast, we're going to be talking about what if you're not intuitive at all. Welcome back to Three Cups and a Dash of Spirituality podcast. This is Stacy and I'm here with Michelle and Carissa. Today we're gonna be talking about what if you're not intuitive at all. Hi there, Michelle. Hi Stacy, how are you? I'm good. How are you? I'm good. Hi Carissa. Hello, hello. You brought it this time. I brought it. We always need to bring it. Absolutely. So I love this topic. This topic comes up so often. So what if you got you're not intuitive at all? What do you guys think? It's bullshit. Everybody's intuitive. I second that. Same. I was like, when I read the topic, I was like, but everybody is in some kind of and I was like, this is gonna go by.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, you have a consciousness, you have intuition. All right, next episode. Bye, buddy. Really, Chris.

SPEAKER_04

This is your topic. You picked it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, did I? Was that me? Yes, it sure was.

SPEAKER_04

Well, you better bring it. And it better last at least a half an hour.

SPEAKER_03

So I do have something for the conversation though. And I think it's the fact that while some people don't feel that they are intuitive, it's not about sitting down doing a psychic reading and reading, wow, that came out really weird. It's not about sitting down and doing a reading for other people. It's trusting your gut. It's knowing when you step into spaces that are unsafe. It's, you know, trusting a business to guide you in the direction that you're trying to walk. It is all of those things. It's not necessarily being a psychic, right? Exactly.

SPEAKER_04

And I wrote that down in my notes because again, I have notes. You're amazing. I need to be prepared. I love it. There we go. The singing again. Awkward. Oh, I get sounded lovely. Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, trust me, I know it doesn't. Otherwise, I would have been a professional singer.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I wish I could sing too. But yeah, everyone is intuitive. And the first two notes I wrote about that were if you have a gut feeling, that's intuition. And that little voice in the back of your head telling you to do something or not, that's intuition. So I absolutely agree with you, Stacy.

SPEAKER_03

If you work with people and you see somebody walking through the door and you look at them and you just get this feeling that they are going to be a challenging person to work with, trust what comes through. Trust it. Doesn't mean you shouldn't work with them, but just know that it's not going to be easy. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Immediately put up that boundary, that energetic boundary when they walk in.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, because then you'll start because everybody's inherent, you know, everybody's got good sides, good parts. Everybody can be lovely and charming. And if you don't remember that, then you're going to forget about it. And then all of a sudden you're really going to hit a wall when you're struggling with them.

SPEAKER_04

Definitely. And I will say when I opened up spiritually, you know, there is that paranormal part. There is that being open to possibilities and not shutting anything down. That's all a part of it. But I didn't realize until I embraced the possibility of that, that throughout my whole life I have been an empath. I did not have a word for it. And that I did have these knowings that I thought everybody had. I didn't know people didn't tap into that or they shut that part down or weren't sure how to connect with it. I thought everybody was experiencing the same thing. So for me, when I'm talking about being intuitive, sometimes I still feel fake because I feel like everybody is tapping into that. And it doesn't feel like anything new, which I was surprised about. I agree.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I like this. I was reading a one research paper, uh dissertation, I think it was, and he was talking about consciousness. And I love how he put it. Sorry, I cannot remember the author's name. We have our physical body, and then our consciousness is like a bridge connecting our physical body to the universe, the afterlife, blah, blah, blah, whatever you want to call it. So as long as we have a consciousness, we've got that intuition that we're always tapping into. It's just you have to practice and focus your and get your brain to realize the difference, if that made sense. It does.

SPEAKER_04

It does. It does. I kind of see it also as just a way to filter the information coming in, also. Intuition acts as that filter to kind of it's the way I process my life. It's how it's the lens I filter things through. And I've accepted it and I'm learning how to work with it. It's an everyday process, even though it's been there my whole life.

SPEAKER_03

And much like you, Michelle, you know, it's it's always been such an innate part of like who I am that I always thought everybody had access to that like little, you know, voice in their head that says, you know, danger, danger, back away. Too bad I can't do a robot voice. That would have been.

SPEAKER_02

Danger, danger.

SPEAKER_03

Leave it to Cerissa. She's got your back. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I like it.

SPEAKER_03

When I step into situations and, you know, I I immediately feel off kilter. You know, I know like there's there's more going on than than meets the eye. You know, I I've met people where I immediately just know that like this is not somebody that I want in my life long term. Just as much as, you know, I've met people where I'm like, this person will be in my life like forever for one reason or another. And it's really fascinating because it's just it's trusting that peace that kind of comes through and just going with it. But it also can be a lot more deep than that. Like immediately upon meeting people, I see, like I see and feel their vibrations. And you know, that can tell me if I want to sit in their vibration or like peace out of it, you know.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, Stacy, and you're gonna kill me here because I'm gonna bring them up and you can call them whatever you want because I know you don't like them, the boxes of them. But we can talk about the clairs a little bit, maybe. Let's do it.

SPEAKER_02

Stacy.

SPEAKER_04

I know again, instead, she does not like that terminology. And I get why. I get why.

SPEAKER_03

Let me explain why I don't like the clairs because I have all of the respect for them. I think that when people step into specifying the Claire that they're really good at, they lock themselves into a box and that is their expectation. I've seen it so many times. Whereas when we just open up to all possibility and release those definitions, how we receive information becomes more authentic to how like to us personally. And you know, I it I you could be all of the Claire's one day and only have one access to one another. It just boxes us in in such a way that it disallowed any form of growth. Because if I looked at you and said, I'm Claire Audien, cool, I hear things. Like that's great, that's all I do. But if I was to say I'm just open to all possibilities, one day I might hear, one day I might see, one day I might feel, and and that's where I struggle with it.

SPEAKER_02

And that is beautifully said. You go, girl, you go. She's like, I'm gonna tell you.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and I agree with you, Stacy. There's definitely an ebb and flow to the Claris because sometimes something comes in and you really have to think about now, did I see that? Did I hear it? Did I feel it? Did I know it? And sometimes they're working in conduct conjunction with each other. Sometimes you saw it, but you also had a feeling. So what is it then? And you're trying to put a term to it to understand it better. And sometimes it's impossible to do because it could be coming in from different intuitive channels. But are you open to sharing at least what they are and what they're associated with? Because those terms are kind of important, I think, even though we'll accept that there's an ebb and flow and they can box you in if you get too tied down to the detail or the word.

SPEAKER_03

I'm open to it. I just typically personally don't refer to them.

SPEAKER_02

Let's do it. She's oh she's flexible.

SPEAKER_04

She is flexible. I'm easy. Okay, well, I'm gonna throw out clairvoyance. Do one of you want to explain what clairvoyance is?

SPEAKER_01

Seeing you start it off, we'll jump in.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Yeah. Stacey just said clairvoyance is seeing things, and there are two ways to see things. You can see it with your physical eyes outside your body. That could be a shadow from the corner, it could be sparkles in the air, it could be waves of motion, it could be a vibration that you're seeing. So with your physical eyes or seeing outside the body, or you can see it with your third eye inside your head, inside your mind. That's where the connection is.

SPEAKER_01

I've had them both.

SPEAKER_04

What one do you tend to lean more into? Do you see more outside the body or inside?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, more inside. I've only I've only seen outside. How many?

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I've seen a lot outside, but in regards to a physical form, right? That was my aunt, but typically it's other stuff, but not where it's they're right in front of your face. No, they're they're always typically inside. A lot of times I have to get really quiet and and quiet the mind before I can actually step into that space too, like raising your vibration a little bit, but not always. And you Stacy?

SPEAKER_03

I see mostly inside my mind, but I I do see outside occasionally, which is where you know uh there are times where I'll be out and about and I'll be like, is that person living or nah? But that doesn't happen too too often.

SPEAKER_04

And I see primarily outside my body, and I'm not getting features when I see outside my body. I see the shape of someone. I couldn't tell you if it was man or woman, I would have to go inside to figure that out. But I see that, I see colors, I see sparkles, but I do also see with my my third eye. So that is clairvoyance. And Stacy, do you want to take Claire Audience?

SPEAKER_03

Yep, clear audience is clear hearing. It's where people can come through and actually speak to you. Again, this can also, I believe, happen inside, you know, kind of your main your mind where people are talking to you or outside. I know for me, very rarely do I hear things outside, but when I do, it definitely gets my attention. But there have been times where my guide Simon will come through and he comes through with a very strong message inside where like he he makes demands, you know. And I think the best example one day is when I was getting dressed, he demanded that I wear red for whatever reason. I still don't know why, but he like said, Nope, you need to wear red today. You have to wear red. And I was like, Okay, like I guess we're prepping the the root chakra, that's cool. And you know, that was interesting. Are you gonna sing Lady in Red, Carissa, for us all?

SPEAKER_02

Lady in red. No, I can't do it. I wish I could. But you try to drop it. I was really gonna try.

SPEAKER_04

That's a good song.

SPEAKER_02

Thank you. Thank you.

SPEAKER_04

How about you, Carissa? Do you hear?

SPEAKER_02

I do hear inside and outside. There's only been a few times outside. It's always usually in. And then the outside last time was wasn't really a stuck spirit, it was a person then spirit staying to protect the land. And then when they saw me come by, they're waking me up in the middle of the night. And I think because it's been such an advanced soul, old advanced soul, that's my theory. That's the reason why I was able to hear him. And I heard my grandfather, I think I talked about that once, maybe in the podcast, how he was trying to speak out loud after he passed.

SPEAKER_04

I remember that. And like you, mostly inside, I'll be thinking about something or going down that rabbit hole with my worry about my kids or whatever. And I will hear, stop it. You know that's not true, or leave it alone. Give yourself a break. I will hear inside, and I have only heard outside a couple times, which also gets your attention very quickly. Very quickly. So, Carissa, do you want to tell us about Claire Sentenance?

SPEAKER_02

Since you're an empath, also Claire Sentinence. Dun dun dun. That's just um able to perceive emotional psychic energy from the five senses. Like as an empath, I can walk into a room and if someone is sitting there before I actually see their face or their body, I can pick up what they're feeling. But it's not fun. I have pretty good boundaries, but and with the energetic boundary, it it still always seeps in. I've tried everything out there, and it just will still seep in, especially if I'm tired and or this and that and stressed. It just is what it is. It's a double-edged sword.

SPEAKER_03

Would you say that also goes with that gut feeling as well? Yeah, I would say I would say so. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And being an empath, and I can ask both of you because Stacey, you're an empath also. We're all empaths. Have you ever been accused of being moody or too sensitive because you are processing how everyone is feeling? So you could walk in a room totally happy and five minutes later be completely miserable.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_04

Chris.

SPEAKER_02

That's mine. That's my response. Okay. Do you want more? I'll give you more if you want more.

SPEAKER_04

No, just enthusiasm. That's all I'm asking for. Just a little bit of it.

SPEAKER_03

Chris is demonstrating her moodiness right now. I know.

SPEAKER_04

She's throwing me for a loop. I don't see side of her very often. She's usually have to get me to quiet down, huh? Yeah, that's so true. Stacy, anything else you want to add about Claire's sentiments?

SPEAKER_03

No, I think I think this one is really just that just feel. Whenever something so I did a lot of readings initially where I would say often, like, I'm feeling this, I'm feeling this come through, I'm feeling this come through. And that is exact, that's that clear is you just kind of feel through all of the information that you're that you're receiving. And and it's in it's interesting. It's it's that's what I think one of the tougher clairs to explain.

SPEAKER_04

I would agree with that. So do you want to try to explain claire cognizance or clear knowing?

SPEAKER_03

Why did I know that you were gonna throw that one at me? Because you know that's the Claire we're talking about. Demonstrated, so I don't need to explain it anymore. No, so claire cogniz, is it clear cognizance? Is that how you say it? Um, or is is based around stepping into a situation and knowing what's gonna happen. I actually texted you guys the other day about about something that might like came through, and it was like this is this is how this is going to unfold. And Carissa, you and I were talking. I know that you get you have access to this clear because you and I talked a little bit about medical procedure that I'm having, and you're like, I know you're gonna be fine. I know that everything's gonna work out. It's definitive almost. You can just kind of see things, and it's like, okay, the how or the when, on the other hand, are a little iffy. Like the information that I got that I was texting them about, it could be 10 years down the line, but it was so clear that I just said, okay, like that's cool. Thank you for giving me that piece of information. And that is like, I know that something is going to unfold at some point in time, and that's cool. So I don't know if that's a great definition, but that's the best I got right now.

SPEAKER_04

It is a great definition because it is just that knowing. You don't know where that information came from, but nobody can tell you that it's not gonna be that way because you know it. You just know it.

SPEAKER_03

And when I met my husband, I looked at my best friend and said, This is the man I'm gonna marry. And she was like, ha ha ha ha. She didn't believe me. And sure enough, I mean, that's exactly how things unfolded.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, but claire cognizance, you can kind of be obnoxious because you always know how a movie's gonna end. There are not many surprises that people can give to you. Yeah, so claire cognizance, it's just that that knowing. I just know it. There's no doubt in my mind, but I just know it. That's how it is. So I love that one. But as we're discussing this, you can see, or the listeners can hear actually how they can kind of get muddled up, like we talked about in the beginning. And so it's better not to label yourself or stick yourself in that box.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, because like in all of our examples, we have an example of each and every one. But I don't put myself in a C in one of the C's. Oh, I've never really thought about it. Which one do I have more? But here's a positive reframe on it. You don't want to put yourself in a box, and that's important. How about you do an exercise for the listeners? Do an exercise, see which one is easier, build on that strength, and then know that you're gonna pick up the other C's. How about that? Was that a good positive spin off?

SPEAKER_04

I think that's a good positive spin. And I kind of had in my notes here that we would talk about intuitive exercises that we can do to help us build that intuition and to get comfortable with information coming in and what it feels like and knowing it's intuition and knowing that it's guiding you and you're not imagining it. I don't know what those exercises are, but we need to put out some fun intuitive exercises for everybody.

SPEAKER_03

So we'll need to think about that. But we still have two more Claire's. Oh, yeah. Go ahead, take it away. Claire aliens, which is clear smelling.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I've had that, but rare.

SPEAKER_03

I have had that as well, actually, when I was in um a cemetery checking, and like I was doing some ghost hunting when I was in high school, and I had an experience where I smelt perfume that did not belong where it was. What about you, Michelle?

SPEAKER_04

Yes, I've experienced that, and I will say somebody in my life who I love very much, she's not all well always sure about how all this works, but she's open to it. And one day she came to me and she said, Michelle, I was just sitting in the chair and all of a sudden I smelled smoke, like the smoke my dad used to like smoke cigarettes. And she goes, You think it could be him? I said, It is him, because I just know because she had that experience, it brought her to her dad, and he was the one sending the message through. So it's really kind of cool when you know there's nothing around you that is making that smell, but yet you're experiencing it, I think, at school.

SPEAKER_03

And and the other one is Claire Gustan's, which is tasting, which I have never experienced, and I don't know if I ever want to.

SPEAKER_02

I don't think I've ever experienced that either. Well, I mean, yeah, I don't know. Do I want to?

SPEAKER_03

I mean, being open to all possibilities, I would say, depending on what it is I'm tasting, I would be open to it.

SPEAKER_04

But yeah, if it was champagne or pizza, yeah, but if it's like manure or whatever was tattooed on Clarissa's foot. Okay, that is the whole reason you brought up these clairs. It's because you wanted to say it.

SPEAKER_00

No, that we really went to get a gondo them.

SPEAKER_04

Oh my god. Those gagging sounds. Yeah. I mean if it was pleasant like strawberries, it wouldn't be bad though. Or pineapple. I say pineapple juice helps.

SPEAKER_02

Helps what?

SPEAKER_03

Pineapple juice helps what of whatever was tattooed on your foot.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god. I have never heard that. Are you serious? Pineapple and pineapple juice. No, I'm not going to. I'm absolutely not.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, pineapple and gender.

SPEAKER_04

Oh. Okay, Chris. Here's your challenge. Try it and report back.

SPEAKER_01

I know you say you're not going to not gonna happen. Nope. Oh my god. Nope. Nope.

unknown

Guys.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, screw the notes. I'm I'm done. I'm tapping in the notes. Sorry, Michelle. No, that's hilarious. I needed that laugh today. Yeah. What are they called? Jelly bellies? Like, what if they had flavors? I mean, that could be what their tasting was like. Those weird flavors you weren't expecting.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my gosh. So we got a mix of jelly bellies like a couple of months ago, and it was all of the flavors mixed together. It was not okay. I was not okay with it because I would grab one and I'd be like, oh, this looks good. And I'd be like, Nope, that's disgusting. And it I don't even it was. Did you smell it first? You can't their jelly you can't. Oh, there's a jelly belly.

SPEAKER_02

What chemicals do they put in that to make them taste so putrid?

SPEAKER_03

Delicious ones? I mean for the good ones. Nasty ones for the bad ones. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like, oh, I don't think yeah. Don't put those in your belly. That's disgusting.

SPEAKER_04

I don't really eat the pink ones.

SPEAKER_03

You see, when you get the mixed bag though, not always. I think like some of the pink ones actually turned out to be cinnamon and FYI. I'm allergic to cinnamon. And I learned that Jelly Belly uses real cinnamon in their jelly beans, which is good to know. Um but it makes my mouth and throat really itchy and not feel that great. So not a good life choice for me.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, you got to be careful of those. Um, while we have a few minutes left, do you, would you, two ladies and myself, like to share a couple ideas about how, if you're struggling to connect with your intuition, that you can connect with your in intuition, are there ways to access it? Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_04

I'll throw one out since it's quiet.

SPEAKER_00

I'm meditating. Yes. I was just saying.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, go, Michelle. I'll go later.

SPEAKER_04

I would say meditation would be a great way to connect with your intuition. Automatic writing would be a great way to get those messages out.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Anyone else? Talking to your guides consistently, just having that inner monologue with them. You don't need to talk to them outside. Create a routine around like trying to access information outside of yourself, but be open to all possibilities. You know, I think a good sign that you're on the right path is when you see those synchronicities, all of those repeat numbers, all of those beautiful things kind of coming through. Things that feel good are usually really good signs that you're walking in the direction of opening up your intuition. And when you do get those little tidbits, stop and look at where it's coming from. And what I mean by that is like I remember I was doing a reading for somebody when I was really trying to figure out how I accessed the information, and it occurred to me that I got visual images in my mind. And they're like so quick that it was really, it was almost fleeting because I was so used to getting them. And once I realized that it was really easy for me to access. I love that.

SPEAKER_04

I think that is a great piece of advice there, Carissa.

SPEAKER_02

So what I do every day, what I because what I realized, and this is gonna be piggybacking on what both of you brought up, is when I was in the Sage method for a year, it was that year that really helped me build my intuition because of the consistency and seeing was that fear, was that intuition, was that just preconditioned, thinking, how do I figure out which is intuition, which is the fear, which is this? And you just have to practice. And now every morning, what I do is I do a quick energetic boundary, I do a meditation, and I do automatic writing. Sometimes I'll check in to see if I get images and visuals, but that's just programming my brain, saying, I am a spirit having a human experience. You know, I'm not gonna get lost in the human experience. I am a spirit having a human experience. It's remembering, remembering, remembering and practice. And now when my guides tell me something, I'm like, oh, okay. And a lot of times they'll they're not gonna give me a definitive answer. And I think that's so important that for listeners, when you go to psychics, just because sometimes the psychic may be vague, it's your guides aren't wanting to tell you everything about it because you've got to have that experience and grow through that situation. You that's so important. Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. And the timing is not ours, it's the universe's and when it's meant to be, it will be. And that's kind of hard to trust, also, because intuition, again, as we said, it requires you to trust yourself, but it also requires you to trust the universe and know that they know what's for your greatest and highest good.

SPEAKER_03

And and sometimes, just to add to, it's vague because the the vagueness and what you walk through and the how uh of you uh getting to a certain destination is the experience that you're meant to have.

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and I used to think, oh, well, a long time ago, I would try with my intuition, like, oh, I'm no good, because my brain would kick in thinking that I would need an answer. And if I wasn't getting anything and I was getting vague, and then I'd get an answer and then it didn't happen, it'd be like, well, see, I'm no good at this. Well, we are, you just have to trust that there's you're not gonna get the answer all the time. Okay, do I take this job? Don't take that job. A lot of times they're not gonna, if the door is open, walk through it, doesn't mean the job's gonna be the job for you, but the experience or that stepping stone to get to the next job.

SPEAKER_04

Right? Yeah, I love that. And remembering that your ego is going to constantly be challenging you and learning to quiet the ego also will give you a clearer path to that intuition. When your ego says, No, you can't, you need to say back to it, well, why can't I? And I think that's important to remember. I think it's also important to remember that as you're going through this process of opening up, you don't need to compare yourself to anybody else and where they're at on their journey, because this journey is your journey. This is about your relationship with your un your intuition and the universe, and it'll unfold like it's supposed to. And if you see but you don't hear, that's okay. It doesn't mean it won't come in later, it's just trust where you're at and no, you don't have to compare yourself to anybody else.

SPEAKER_03

I agree.

SPEAKER_04

Love it. I love it too. And then when you have those very intuitive moments, if you have a pen, jot it down and keep them somewhere so you can go back on those days where you're like, did that really happen, or why am I doing this? Those will be reminders as to why you're doing this because you'll be able to see how far you've grown. You have proof there that that happened because in the moment you captured it. And remember, everybody is intuitive. Everybody, yeah, I agree. I think well, let's see. That's a great way to close this out. Yeah, I think so too. I was just looking at my my notebook. I promised I wouldn't, but yeah, I don't have anything else written down.

SPEAKER_02

So Stacy, take us out, take it away, stay sassy, stay sassy.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, hi guys.
