SPEAKER_01

Hey, welcome everybody to Three Cups and a Dash of Spirituality podcast. Today we're gonna talk about a whole hodgepodge of all psychic fun stuff. Roll the music. Hey, welcome to the Three Cups and Dash of Spirituality podcast. Today I've got Michelle and Stacey. Hey guys, how's it going?

unknown

Hello.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like we could do a holiday episode in anywhere October through December, and I'm happy with that.

SPEAKER_02

To get this whole episode started, I just would love to share the huge coincidence we we had because we have been talking about coincidences for the past couple weeks. And the other day, Carissa sent us a picture. Do you want to share what that picture was?

SPEAKER_01

What picture was that? Remind me. What?

SPEAKER_02

Where does it be like how impactful for you? Like I thought this was a really cool connection between the three of us.

SPEAKER_00

I did too, but apparently, Cursa's like, nah, guys, you got you, it doesn't matter. Oh my God, seriously, my brain.

SPEAKER_01

Remind me, remind me.

SPEAKER_00

Well, Curso, you started off the day one day sending us a picture of a penny that you found. I believe I can't remember where you were, but it was heads up. And you were like, you know, it was it was just kind of a cool coincidi, as it were. And you sent both Michelle and I the picture. And then Michelle had the same experience several hours later. And I'm gonna let you share your portion of it, but then I did as well.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So this was on a Friday. I had been traveling, and first thing in the morning, Carissa sent a picture of a penny that she had found on the floor in her bedroom, I believe. And she felt it was a sign from her grandfather. And I'm like, yes, you know, that's what I'm picking up. Also, that's really cool. That's the same sign I get from my grandpa. So about an hour later, I opened up my suitcase, and I shit you not. There is a single penny, like when I unzip it, sitting right there on top of all my clothes. Where did the penny come from? I don't know, but I thought it was pretty cool. So we both sinked into the penny story. And then Stacey, what happened for you?

SPEAKER_00

I was getting out of my Jeep and I looked down and I had a penny sitting there waiting for me, like right on, like right on the floor, heads up. And I just like I'm looking at our text messages, and you there are three pictures in in order. I have the the Jeep floor, and then I have Michelle's suitcase, and then I have your hands all three in a row holding a penny, all heads up. I remember now.

SPEAKER_02

I remember now. When one person has an experience, they for some reason share it. And then the two of us also have the same experience within a short amount of time. Like that's pretty cool. It felt very on path. We all felt very supported in what we were doing on this journey with this podcast and this friendship. So I thought we could start off the episode talking about that.

SPEAKER_00

Well, we were definitely going through some ideas and stuff like that for the podcast too. So it just it did, it felt very succinct that all three of us in the same day had that like, hey, yep, way to go. You guys got this kind of sign. Just warm and fuzzy. Yeah, it really was. So you remember it now, Carissa.

SPEAKER_01

We're all connected.

SPEAKER_02

We are all connected. And as everybody knows, we just came off Sally House November. Like, I don't know what else to call it because three episodes, three Sally House episodes. How are y'all feeling about that?

SPEAKER_00

Well, it didn't affect me at all. I just got to listen to all your stories.

SPEAKER_01

I'm ready to talk about the Driscoll.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Well, we'll get to the Driscoll. I just wanted to wrap up a couple of things on the Sally House because it is actually still reaching out to me. I haven't been able to really. Yeah, it is. I haven't been able to completely shake it from my nervous system yet. And all these little signs and synchronicities, like I'm a little bit over it, but like it was really cool because Stacy did help me in a Reiki session work on cutting some of those cords. So that's going on for me. Also, when we went into the Sally house to have the spiritual experience, I in no way thought that that meant there would be a murder component to it or a person in there associated with murder. And so the three of us have talked about it. And I don't know when it's gonna be, but sometime in the near future, we're gonna talk to you about the Clutter family, let you know who they were, what the complete story is. There's a lot of twists and turns. One of the big twists and turns, and I really wanted to mention this because I got to watch the movie last night, is there is a movie called Infamous. It was released in 2006, and it is based on Truman Capote's experience working with these killers as he wrote his book in cold blood. And there are fascinating twists and turns there because here you have Truman Capote who is connected to the Queen. He's connected to Humphrey Bogart. So he's getting all these messages from them, yet looking for his inn in Kansas to be able to talk to these killers and how to work with them. The story is absolutely fascinating. So I wanted to put that out there in case you're interested in watching it. Can I ask the question?

SPEAKER_01

Why was Perry and This Other Guy so famous?

SPEAKER_02

I think it was really based on Truman Capote's book. It was the first true crime genre book, and it happened back in 1965.

SPEAKER_00

I I actually think I've read the book and I'm trying to remember when, but I I mean I tend to read very quickly. So I know my dad had it. So this is actually, we're gonna say probably over 10 years ago, where I grabbed I snagged it from him and I know I I think I read it very quickly.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's very well written. It's written from the perspectives of the different people in town and what they were experiencing. I thought it was a really good book because I've done that rabbit hole dive. So that's probably why I can't shake this whole experience yet.

SPEAKER_01

And there's way more to the story, too, it sounds like, which is really cool.

SPEAKER_02

There's way, yeah, way more. It is kind of leading us down this trail, too. We talk again about coincidences. We were at the Sally house, we had this experience, and we decided because Carissa has fallen in love with it, but she's not the only one. I really enjoyed the experience. So looking forward to the next one. Uh, we've been talking about our next location. The Lizzie Borden house is really high up there, but we did get a pool to another house. And the way those coincidences came through were kind of amazing. So I would throw it to Carissa if you remember how they came through.

SPEAKER_01

I don't remember. I do remember the Sally board, not Izzy Borden house. I do remember that. There is this other house, there's an axe murderer. I think Bonnie was like pulled to it or something.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So Bonnie, as you remember, she was pulled to the Sally house. And a couple of weeks ago, she sent Carissa and I a message about the Velasca, Velasca, I don't know how you say it, axe murder house in Iowa. And when I got that message, I was like, oh my gosh, that's really weird because I've been thinking a lot about Iowa lately, because that's where my mom's from and she was getting ready to celebrate a big birthday. So I was already being pooled there. So I'm like, oh, that's a coincidence. And then the Amdiff Bonnie didn't send us a videotape. She was watching Wheel of Fortune, and the clue on that day was Iowa City, Iowa. Or I guess not the clue, the puzzle on that day was Iowa City, Iowa. So it felt very much like it was pulling us. Well, then a couple of days later, Bo had sent me a message that said, hey, my daughter-in-law and I were talking about this house, same house. So independently, she got this house. And I thought it was really cool. Well, on further investigation, the houses, the Sally House and the Velaska Axe Murder House, have the same address. So that's another connection, another pool. So yes, the only thing different is the direction. So the Sally House is like 508, whatever 2nd Street, and the Axe Murder House is 508, a different direction, 2nd Street. What? Yeah, I know it's crazy. So we're going there, but it is a place we can spend the night in, but they don't have heat. So we're gonna wait till the spring or summer. That's only fair. It is only fair. And I feel like I'm doing a lot of talking, ladies. So like let's not stay in the night.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not staying the night.

SPEAKER_02

I know we'll have another hotel, but it'll probably be the holiday in express again, Chris.

SPEAKER_01

I'm just sick. Gee, you can do it. You can do it. I might sit that one out and wait till we go to Boston.

SPEAKER_02

You're not feeling the pool there. Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_01

We'll see. We'll see. So much can happen. Remember what happened last time? It was like, no, no, no, and then last minute.

SPEAKER_02

Well, we're gonna get Stacy on these wherever we end up. And I thought it was really cool because I did go to do research on this house and I listened to the Morbid podcast. And I'm like, they're gonna mention the Lizzie Borden house. If they do, that's another one. Definitely we're going to. It feels on point. And they did in the second part of the episode. They talked about the Lizzie Borden house.

SPEAKER_00

I love that podcast. Morbid is one of the yeah, it's good. I actually had to stop listening to it though, because being the whole like being psychic medium, all of those things, listening to it sometimes brings stuff in. And like I drive because I drive a lot, I would listen to one episode after another after another. And all of a sudden I'm like feeling not great vibes in the Jeep. And I'm like, hmm, we need to take a break. So work on that protection and keep listening. But I love, I love them.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they do a really fun job. I just wanted to share that. So those are things coming up in the future. And let us know if you like those episodes that we did on the Sally House again.

SPEAKER_01

If they have somewhere they'd want us to go.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, that was the other note I had because I have my notes here today. I know you all love my notes. Um, but yeah, if they have somewhere they want to go.

SPEAKER_00

Look at me. I have mine up too.

SPEAKER_02

Look at that.

SPEAKER_00

Carissa, look at me.

SPEAKER_02

Is there anything written on that paper? The top. There's one line. But we had a lot of fun, and Carissa, again, is feeling really pulled to helping spirits cross over and step into this more. And we recently went to the Driscoll Hotel, Carissa.

SPEAKER_01

Do you want to start talking about that? Oh my gosh, where do we start? So Driscoll uh is a haunted hotel in Austin. And I said, Michelle, I got I need another adventure. And she's like, Cool, I'm there. Let's do it. Let me tell you, I stayed in the supposedly the most haunted room, but the whole hotel's haunted. Come on. Well, what was it, 525 or something? I stayed in, whatever. We got all of our stuff. We've got some stuff to show the listeners, except I did not get the ball moving. And I'm sure it's on the footage, but it's like a few hours and I just don't have time to go through everything. But the Driscoll, if you want an experience, it's like a train station. That is what it felt like.

SPEAKER_02

It is. And it did it was reaching out to you, Carissa, before you arrived. If you remember that dream you had or that vision you had of the vultures, do you remember?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that was weird. That was very strange.

SPEAKER_02

And when we got to the Driscoll, you know, we're not shy about interviewing staff and people who frequent the location a lot. And we did have a waitress who was talking to us and randomly said, her favorite bird is a vulture.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. Did I tell you that, Stacey? I'm sure I did. Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_00

So remember when you guys were there, I you kind of brought us into the experience because we all hopped on uh session with you, which was really cool. And I will say, like, even just even though I wasn't at the Sally house with you guys, being, you know, having the ability to like be on Zoom with you while you were at the Driscoll, I could feel the difference between the two. The Driscoll actually felt very calm, like not as heavy of an energy and you know, kind of lighthearted, so to speak. Whereas when you were at the Sally house, it felt very heavy, like walking, like you guys said, walking through mud. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And that is true. When I walked into the Driscoll, I didn't have any fear. I didn't step immediately into any fear. It did feel lighter, it felt completely different. And I was shocked that two different places, I just figured you'd walk in and you'd feel the same, but no, not at all.

SPEAKER_01

So this time, Stacy, I brought a thermal camera and I sent you an image. We won't have to go in it to just yet. So you can see how when you see a human and then you can see something there progressing through the night. Well, right when we got there, uh, we walked in and the pillow fell over. And these are big, heavy pillows, and we kept pushing on the bed. And the wait staff said that normally happens, and you really can't push them over.

SPEAKER_02

We had gone into the most haunted room. Um, the story behind that is two brides in the past had stayed there. Two brides had killed themselves in that room, and we were in there just talking, and you know, the four pillows were leaned up like this. And one, I mean, you're leaned back, it fell forward and shocked us both. Of course, we didn't think to have our cameras out because we had just gotten into the room.

SPEAKER_01

And I crossed over a little girl. She was like pulling on me. And this is was this right after the ball moved? And I wish, I'm sorry, guys, I wish I would have gotten it. The we have a ball that lit up. Was that right after she the ball lit up before she came or while when I was like trying to talk with her?

SPEAKER_02

Um, no, what happened is we had arrived at the hotel. We went downstairs to have a drink. Uh, we were talking to our server, and he actually showed us footage that the hotel camera had picked up, like movement in that area. We ate dinner, we went upstairs, and then we reached out to Stacy and Bo and Bonnie. We all did a Zoom call and brought them into the experience, but then we had a ghost hunt to go on. And so I I think the ball happened, and then we went on the ghost tour. It wasn't a hunt, it was a ghost tour. And the scariest thing about that tour is downtown Austin at night. Like I was terrified of the crime there. I felt not comfortable.

SPEAKER_01

It's it's actually better versus a couple years ago, but yeah, they're the homeless, it's really sad. The drug, yeah. I mean, and that's pretty much every big city.

SPEAKER_02

But then we came back to the hotel, and the guide, because we told the guide we did not want to wander the streets anymore. Could we just go to the hotel and have the rest of this conversation? She's like, sure. So Carissa ran up to her room and she came back. She's like, Oh my gosh, it's something's there. It's already pulling at me, like it's in the room. And so we finished with the lady. Then we went back upstairs. And then I think that's when the ball happened, and then the crossing over.

SPEAKER_01

So there was supposedly a little girl, I can't remember her name, Samantha Houston. Samantha Houston, look at that. My brain's working. Samantha Houston, she was playing with the ball and she fell down the stairs. And this little girl, I don't know if this is coming connected, it's just too coincidental or it's a coincidence. The ball moved and I see her and she's pulling on me. And here's one ethical thing I wanted to talk about, and then you guys talk about too an experience of where you helped a spirit transition back home. Is that, you know, I was sitting there and I was talking with her, but I was also asking her, can you do something else? And then ethically, I was like, I can't do that. I just can't keep asking her.

SPEAKER_02

Like you wanted her to light up a ball or knock the pull over or something again.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So that didn't last long.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I think that gets to a point where you feel like, Am I using you before I help you? When it's kind of like, you know, people donating big sums of money, but wanting it on camera for good PR.

SPEAKER_01

That was a good analogy.

SPEAKER_00

It feels gross because you're like, Hold on, you're you're you're obviously having a hard time. I'm gonna give you a hundred bucks, but I want to record it so people see me doing it. It just doesn't come across the same. So I get what you're saying in that sense.

SPEAKER_01

So and then I held space and Michelle crossed her.

SPEAKER_02

She's like, Michelle, I think you need to have this experience. And so you did a wonderful job walking me into it. I I feel like we both crossed her because it was with your assistance I was able to.

SPEAKER_01

I very rarely have little kids. Let's just say that.

SPEAKER_00

So did you feel the difference after you had crossed her? So let me rephrase that a little bit. Could you feel the the energy kind of shift from one thing to another? And what did it feel like on both ends? For me, no.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, because this hotel, it just felt like it's transitional, it's in and out, in and out. The salie house was heavy, and when things changed, it was just light. With this little girl, all of a sudden, she's not pulling on me, you know. You know, like a four-year-old, when you have a four-year-old kid and they're like pulling on your clothes, you know. So all of a sudden then that's gone. But no, for me, no change.

SPEAKER_02

For me, I mean it was a little bit emotional, and then it was just like clear, it was just like lighter, and that's the best way I can describe it.

SPEAKER_00

I have noticed lately, and I don't know if you ladies can confirm or deny this, that when I've done any crossing over work of any sort or transitioning work spirits who are kind of stuck on the side, it's very quick and very like like when when I get anything that comes through, they're ready to go. They just need a somebody to hold space or kind of like I'm gonna say, open a door for them. And it's just it's so quick that it's like, oh, okay, that's okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's I used to get stuck in my head, like I was getting myself, I was making it harder versus working with my guides, the other side, source, God, however you want to call it, uh, to help me while I'm holding space and working with them to help me guide them to where they have to go. And then it's just pretty quick. And then there was a man that woke me up in the middle of the night, though, where I have not, this is very rare too. I don't hear them on my outside. And that night he did. And I was just like, go away, I'm tired.

SPEAKER_02

And when I went back to my room and it was quite late, I will say that fear that I didn't have walking in had started to creep back in. And I find it really interesting that I didn't have any fear until the guide put it in my mind. She was sitting there saying, and we have a man here, Jesse Driscoll. He's known to come sit on ladies who are traveling alone's bed and start playing with their hair and doing all that. And yeah, I was, as Stacy would say, noping right out of that situation. There's no way that I wanted to be a part of that. That scares me. I don't want to be touched. But again, the place itself, very busy, but not scary until the human puts scare into it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I was gonna say, isn't that almost a setup though? That's like having your haunted houses, like what we talked about in in the previous episodes. You're setting up that energy, you're creating the space for the spirit to show up in women's rooms and play with their hair and basically inviting it in. So, of course, multiple people are gonna have that experience because it's put out there. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And the other thing she shared with us is there is a portrait of the little girl and it's hanging on the fifth floor. And Chris is like, let's go find it. But the other part of it is she said, like people who look at it while they're in their hotel, they just feel uneasy. And I can't remember the other words that she said, but by looking into it, like you're bringing something negative into your space while in that hotel. And I'm like, I can't do it. Like if there's a chance of it, I can't do it. But Krissa, she's a warrior, she was willing to, but for my sake, she stepped back.

SPEAKER_01

I don't like going into dark, heavy stuff, but the Driscoll felt light and like you're at the airport, so it was totally bougie, right up your alley. It is kind of bougie too. Oh, Michelle, you're bougie too, don't you?

SPEAKER_00

I know, I know. Do you want to share the videos? Do you want me to pop them on? Do it, do it.

SPEAKER_02

So, Carissa, why don't you explain the videos when they pop up as to where we were and what was happening?

SPEAKER_01

So you're gonna see my yeah, the finger, and then this is the hotel camera, what they caught.

SPEAKER_02

And there it moves. So that's and I've seen the video in real time and I still can't see it. Isn't that ridiculous?

SPEAKER_00

All right, I'm gonna bring up the second one.

SPEAKER_01

So that's thermal camera, so you can see what a human looks like. And this thing, I it picks up things, picked up so much at the Driscoll. So last night I had it on and I was doing my husband, and then I walk around. You it'll pick up people, and then of course I didn't pick up anything in my house last night.

SPEAKER_00

Um that would be a different conversation, right?

SPEAKER_01

That would be a different conversation. It it's it is pretty interesting with a thermal camera, it's really interesting.

SPEAKER_02

And we were in the bank's vaults where they do have a lot of activity, and it's just small, and it was both only Chris and I in there. And I was taking the video, and there was the first person was obviously Carissa, but moving it over, nobody was standing there. That's just what it picked up. That wasn't me standing there.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. They said there was a lot of activity in there, and that's why we went in there. Uh, it's okay. I remember now.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I think it's really cool that you're able to get that on camera and you can see like so. I would watching like that video and seeing you having it on, I believe you had it on the show and then. Moving it over. You would assume that if the camera was like almost making things up, that as soon as you moved, there would be a person there, but you you were able to move over and see it, which I just I think that's cool.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we were pretty excited when we got that video because again, we missed the pillow falling over, we missed the ball lighting up on itself. And what Carissa and I mean when we talk about a ball, it's like a little cat toy, a little ball that when it's played with the light colors turn on. And when we were in her room and we were tapping in, it lit up. And it didn't light up any other time.

SPEAKER_00

No, that's so cool.

SPEAKER_02

We have a couple listener questions. So maybe if we have time, we'll get to two today and then um we'll save one for next week or two weeks from now. Okay. Cool. Here's the first listener question. Can you each share one spiritual experience that you've had over the holiday season that made you feel connected to spirit or loved ones who have passed on?

SPEAKER_01

Stacy, you want to or Michelle, y'all want to go first? I gotta think about this.

SPEAKER_02

I do have one. I can go ahead and take that question. This happened about two years ago, and it was early Christmas morning. My husband had already left the room. So it was only me in the room because I don't ever jump out of bed or get up at the ass crack of dawn. But I'm laying there and all of a sudden I feel something pulling on my blanket. And I told you just a while ago, I don't like things touching me or my space, but this didn't feel threatening and it just kind of felt like a nuisance. Like, why is this pulling on my blanket? And it happened twice. I got up, you know, did my Christmas morning. We started opening presents. And uh, how do I put this? So somebody who was at our house received a present from their daughter, and it was a homemade quilt that represented a loved one that had passed within the last five years. And so at that point, because I've never had anything pull on my blanket since, it just really felt like it was a message from him letting us know he was there with us on that Christmas, and that when that blanket was received and the emotion that came through it, that he was also there with it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh that's a sweet one.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it was really sweet, and um it really made that day extra special, just knowing we're being looked over and they're messing with me a little bit, but that's okay. How about y'all?

SPEAKER_00

The only one that I can think of happened on Halloween, but I guess that's still a holiday. And you know, it's it's just I think when I was a teenager, before I really started stepping into my psychic abilities and it was just playing. I I remember playing with the Ouija board, which I strongly advise against because I had no idea what I was doing. And we had multiple experiences with spirits coming in and like dropping stuff and like letting us know that they were there and moving things like in the room. And it was it, it took me a few days to get over it and decide it wasn't real, even though it definitely happened. But that is the only like holiday experience that I can remember.

SPEAKER_01

I really don't have one that's coming up right now about because I'm thinking I'm mainly focusing on Christmas, and yeah, I just don't like I don't have anything that happened during the holidays that really how about an experience that like really spoke to your heart and filled you up from a place of just like thank you, gratitude. I I think it's the time um after my grandfather passed. That's why the pennies and and sometimes dimes, it always reminds me of him because they're always in random, strange places. And my mom had texted me and said, We just keep finding five dollar bills everywhere. And I and I know it's dad, my grandpa, and I was going on a walk and I said, You know what? All I'm getting is damn pennies, you know, I want some money. And shit, you not found a $20 bill within a few minutes that's not on the driveway, not on the sidewalk. And I look down, and there's no one to go give it to, right? There's it's no, it's not connected to a house. And I was like, okay. So I text my mom, how many five-dollar bills? Around $20, $25. So that filled me up and made me feel like, okay, you're you you are listening to me. I feel heard and validated, and I feel like you're here with me.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, just giving that gratitude back and just being thankful for the experience, I think is what the holiday season is about, like in the human realm and and beyond. And to know they're watching out with us and or watching out for us and that we're still connected is awesome.

SPEAKER_00

So you said one that fills us with joy. Yeah. What about one that made me laugh? Oh laughter is joy. Okay. So I was getting somebody was practicing a reading on me. I think it was last week, and you know, the human end sometimes comes up, and I've had a lot of self-doubt lately about some things that are shifting in my life. And this reader said, I'm getting this like grandmotherly feeling coming through. And the grandmotherly feeling says that you're going to recognize her and know who she is. And as Carissa says, I shit you not. I I immediately thought of my great great-grandmother who was initially one of my guides. And I like closed my eyes for a moment, and she was standing in front of me holding a wooden spoon. Why? Because I was standing in self-doubt, and she was one of those, I'm gonna whack. I'm gonna pop you. Oh, that is funny. It was good, and I was like, All right, all right, stepping back, you know. So it was it was pretty good.

SPEAKER_02
