Three Cups and a Dash Podcast
Hi everyone, on this week's episode of Three Cups and a Dash of Spirituality, we are gonna be talking about opening up and stepping into fear. Is there anything we can do about it? Listen in to find out. Hello everybody, and welcome to another episode of Three Cups in a Dash of Spirituality. I'm Michelle, and today I'm here with Stacy. Hey Stacy. Hi there and Carissa. Hey Carissa.
SPEAKER_00Hello, hello.
SPEAKER_04I love your hello, hello. So enthusiastic. Hello, hello. Yeah, so today in this week's episode, we are gonna be talking about how to deal with spirituality and some of the fear that comes along with it.
SPEAKER_03Do do do do.
SPEAKER_01See, I was gonna do that. I was so glad you did.
SPEAKER_04But I have to ask, did you think that was a Jaws tune, Carissa?
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_04I didn't think so for a minute. No. No, it's exactly what you thought it was. I love it. Well, when I started thinking about fear, and I think we've shared before that there's been some fear around sharing that part of myself and pushing that boundary. But there is another type of fear, and that's the fear of the unknown. And I was thinking about that, and it really feels like a lot of that initial fear could have come from like pop culture. Growing up, that for a lot of us had to be our first introduction to the paranormal. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Poltergeist was the was the movie out when I was a kid.
SPEAKER_01So yeah. Well, I mean, and it's also an introduction to like literally anything spiritual, too. So you're getting all of your lessons and all of the things from all pop culture all over the place.
SPEAKER_04Exactly. And like Carissa, I did a list of a couple movies that I remember. Of course, my parents didn't let me watch them, but I heard about them because everyone would talk about them. Movies such as The Exorcists, The Omen, and of course Poltergeist. That movie scared me to death. I still to this day have not watched that scene where he peels his face off of the scene.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you know what though? I did when I was older, and I was like, this is so dumb.
SPEAKER_04Back then it was so scary. Right. And of course, we're talking about the poltergeist from the 1980s, not the newer version of it.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I didn't even know there was a new version.
SPEAKER_04I haven't watched any of those.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you gotta watch it.
SPEAKER_01Because the devil is creepy. You gotta watch it.
SPEAKER_04It's all creepy when you're like 11. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And and I'll throw out there that the the movies that really scared me because I didn't see those was I watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose when I was in a college dorm room, and it starts out in a college dorm room, and that really scared the and then the sixth sense. It the sixth sense actually. Well, the sixth sense stopped me from wanting to ever see spirits because I thought for the longest time that I would see them how they passed. Because that's what that movie really put a lot of effort into is when you saw the spirits, they were in the form how they left the earth.
SPEAKER_00And then he helped him cross over. Mm-hmm. That was so sweet.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but you're it had a good ending, but it still scared the crap out of me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the hanging in the hallway, hanging in the hallway, and the bicyclist. Yeah, you're and the oh, the girl that threw up. Okay, we're good.
SPEAKER_03Okay, can we not go down into like all these descriptive?
SPEAKER_01I wasn't, I was not walking in that direction. Oh leave it to Carissa.
SPEAKER_04Well, I remember many years ago, I was watching the movie The Ring. We had gone to a friend's house and there were four of us watching it. And, you know, it's about a telephone call that you get, and then it starts a like a call. Seven days. Yeah, a countdown to like your demise. And we watched that movie, and I kid you not that within five minutes of it finishing at 12:30 in the morning, our phone rang. And it was a random call, and that was super scary. And I'm like, nope, I don't like this. You guys talked me into watching it, and yeah, done. I would have peed my pants.
SPEAKER_01Like, no, I would have like been like, nope, I'm gonna nope right out of here. Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, well, you know, I wouldn't have shared that part of the story if that had happened, but it didn't. I took you.
SPEAKER_01I guess that's the difference between you and I because I'd be like, and then I peed my pants.
SPEAKER_04Yes, you just throw it all out there. For me, that was really my introduction to the aspect of fear. Um, another introduction actually came from my household. I had a grandfather who always shared a story about seeing a spirit next to his bed, being in bed, being asleep, waking it up, and someone standing there. And the idea of that terrified me for years, and I was not open to seeing anything at all after hearing that story. Did you have any experiences like that?
SPEAKER_01So I had one. And the one experience that I had, I I I recall I was actually a teenager. I was standing in in my bedroom and I remember looking outside, and I saw just hundreds of people surrounding my house. And what I didn't understand at the time is they were all, you know, souls that needed help being crossed over. And they were kind of seeking me out because essentially, in in one way or another, I'm I'm a beacon for souls, like you you both are as well. And I didn't know that they were there seeking help or seeking, you know, to be crossed. But when you look at, you know, you're outside and you're surrounded by these people and you can see through them, it's a terrifying experience. Uh yeah, definitely. And I was, like I said, I was a teenager. So I was like, I noped right out of the spiritual end of the world. And I I had been reading tarot for a couple of years at that point in time, and I was like, nope, not even not even touching it, not messing with this. I'm done. So how about you, Carissa?
SPEAKER_04Did you have a story you'd like to share about how you were introduced to spe to to fear?
SPEAKER_00As Stacy was telling her story, the memory popped up, and I kind of zoned a little bit and realized I need to do some inner child work. I was five years old. Can't believe I forgot this. And there was a man right next to my bed, but it's like he was on his knees, like kneeling down, so the eye level was low. And I can't remember what he looked like, but I think as a child, he just seemed really big. And I just went under my covers. And I'm and I was a memory where I look under my covers to see if he's still there. Yep, and I went back under the covers. I didn't fall asleep at night, and I completely forgot about that. Meant to share on this podcast. Oh, yeah. Poor thing, poor kids having to see stuff like that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's terrifying. And speaking of that, our little friend's back popping in and out. I don't know if he's there for you too, Stacey.
SPEAKER_01I haven't noticed, but I will let you know if I do.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Um, did either of you ever try like the Ouija board?
SPEAKER_00Yes, of course. As a teen or as a kid, yeah.
SPEAKER_04I was so drawn to it and drawn to trying it out and seeing if it really worked. I did have a scary experience with it because I was upstairs in my house, and of course, I'm not gonna do it alone because the movie said not to do it alone. I don't even know if that's in the instructions. What movie? The Ouija movie, the Ouija board movie.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I never see I've never seen it. Okay. Yeah, I didn't even know it was a thing.
SPEAKER_04It's probably out of date now, and you'd laugh at it, but at the time it was pretty scary. Was it in the 80s? It was in the 80s. Yeah, I didn't see that one then. Yeah, so yeah, I had a Ouija board in my home, was sitting there using it with a friend. I asked if anybody was there, the room got cold, and a flame that was on the candle next to me shot sky high. And I was like, nope, not doing this, packing it up, putting it away, and that night it spent the night out on my front porch, not inside my house.
SPEAKER_00That's actually very intuitive of you to say, no, this needs to go outside because it's true. We don't want to bring that energy in the house.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, absolutely not. And didn't know what I tapped into either. And all I could think about was that moving and everything that happened. So again, it really did play a part in shaping that fear. So did having fear about this, I know Stacy had just said a few minutes ago that it kind of shut her down for a while. Did it shut you down also, Carissa, where you were just not about it, not gonna have it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I had something happen, but it was my guides, and they really did not do a very good job. But I was 17, 18. I think I was 18, because it's right before I moved out of the house. And um, I heard something draw, I turned the shower on, and this was after. This is another experience I can tell later when I had tapped in with my guides. That was a really beautiful experience, but it was scary. Do you want me to tell you that one first, real quick? Sure, whatever we're gonna do. Sorry, no, you don't have to rush. So the whole church thing, I was like, this is just a bunch of bullshit and mythology. I want to be done. Sat down in my room and I lit a candle and I said, God, if you're real, you need to let me know because I'm gonna go be an atheist. I was dead serious. And when I placed my hand on my laps, I became stone like a stone, very still, like a statue. And the flame went of the candle went very still, and I was just full of love. It's the most powerful love feeling, and I'm oh I'm I'm definitely positive this is what we feel when we pass over. It's like you could be in a cage and I could be full of rats, and you're feeding me dog poop, and I'd be like, Thank you. Everything is great, everything is wonderful, everything is as it should be. I'm just trying to get the grossest of the gross, okay, guys. I know Stacy's laughing over there. I am so and then, but within probably 20 seconds, if my brain kicked in. I said, I'm good, I'm done. And then it laughed my body. I was also tears are flowing down my face, and I was smiling. So I said, Okay, I got it. I'm good. Fast forward though, because now I'm starting to pick up more. Something fell in the sink. The shower was on. I went to the sink, and my mom had a little glass, a little bitty teeny glass angel hanging on the window. It had fallen and a wing had been broken off. And I was like, that's fucked. And then I heard a man in my voice, I mean, in my voice, in outside of my ear say, Hey, right at my ear. And then I went to the bathroom and there was a smiley face in the fog on the window, you know, in the mirror. And I said, That's it, I'm freaking out of here, I'm gone. And then that shut me back down. I was like, I believe, but I'm not open to all this other stuff. It's a no. So that shut me down. I got opened up and then I shut it down.
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah, that's terrifying. It sounds like that that was before knowing how to protect yourself.
SPEAKER_00Yes, that was definitely no, and there were other things that had happened that I don't, you know, that really scared me, but that's maybe for another time.
SPEAKER_04What do you think it was that pushed you back onto the path of spirituality and being open to possibilities?
SPEAKER_01I think for me, it was being authentic to myself and realizing that that's an innate part of who I am. And by just continuing to keep it shut down, I was denying a part of me that is, you know, more authentic.
SPEAKER_00How about you, Carissa? I I stayed spiritual but shut that part down until I went to get my master's in counseling, become a became atheist again. And then I started seeing a psychic, and then my guide started uh waking me up, and I couldn't I couldn't deny it. And that's when I started waking up again.
SPEAKER_04So a pretty powerful pool, too.
SPEAKER_00Oh my goodness, yeah, like a a couple books falling off the bookshelf. Like they're trying to build a relationship with me, like little stuff here and there and there. And I was like, you know, at that point I had a very scientific mind. And I was an atheist. Back to being an atheist. And I was like, okay, well, I I can't deny any of this. Like, this is too real. Like, I now know what schizophrenia looks like, bipolar looks like, I've worked with them, an outpatient. Like, this is I'm I'm sane, I'm logical, I'm have clear thinking. This is I can't deny it. Which I it was an important stage to go through.
SPEAKER_04Definitely, and a necessary stage. I know that when I started my spiritual awakening again, again, everything had always been there. It's just I didn't have the time to dive deep into it. I was open to my intuition, but scared, scared about what I could possibly see. So I had to kind of make a deal and just say, hey, please don't ever be there when I wake up just standing there. Now, if I see you fade in, your form come to be, that's another thing. I think I can handle that, but please don't touch me. Please don't um startle me awake. But I'm open now and I I do say that. And when I see something, I always acknowledge, like I see you. And if you want to speak to me or give me any information, I'm open to what you're bringing in.
SPEAKER_01Well, and I think you're bringing a really good point because you set boundaries, right? I did. And boundaries are key to actually being able to utilize and step into these connections that are grown. And and what you said made me laugh because I don't allow spirits in my bedroom either. Like that's I I actually don't allow them in my bedroom at all. I don't want to wake up, I don't want you to wake me up, I don't even want you to fade in. Anywhere outside of my bedroom is fine. But I need to be able to sleep peacefully. And Carissa, I know that you get woken up a lot, which I give you mad props because that's kind of for me, it's not even fear-based, it's jump scare-based, if that makes sense.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah. Startled, yes. That's the worst feeling in the world to be startled by something.
SPEAKER_01Well, you both have kids, and and I'm sure at some point in time your kid was standing in your bedroom in the middle of the night and scared you. Yeah. To me, to me, it's the same thing.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, those little monsters of kids of ours that just appear in the room when we're not expecting it standing there over the bed.
SPEAKER_03I need some water.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Okay, okay. Those were the days.
SPEAKER_04I miss it, but yeah. Well, I thought maybe I've jotted down a couple things or a couple ways that we can address fear. And why don't I just go down the list and you guys can add in your thoughts or additional things that come to mind when I give some ideas for our listener on how to deal with fear they might be feeling? Sounds good to me. Look at you being all prepared. I know.
SPEAKER_00I love it. I love it. You wouldn't even vacation.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you wouldn't even know I was jet lagged right now. And but I am. Okay, so what can you do when you're feeling fearful? The first thing that I wrote down is you can run away. Run away.
SPEAKER_03Run away. Sorry. Yes, that can happen too.
SPEAKER_04But if you don't want to run away, if you want to face that fear, if you want to stand strong, what's something you can do? Well, the first thing you can do is you can step into your energetic boundary exercise, that centered, released, and shielded thing we had talked about earlier. Chrissa, do you want to build on that?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so um I look at it as getting really grounded in the present moment. And, you know, we're taught in childhood to say, you can't touch me there, you can't talk to me like that, but we're not taught to protect our energy because energy is just woo-woo. Thankfully, science is starting to speed up on it. But it's a way of saying, This is my space. This is like my little room around me, invisible room around me. You're not allowed in. And I'm I am in control of what goes out. Perfectly said.
SPEAKER_01Stacy, do you want to add anything to that? Actually, I do. I I just my brain just had a spark. It's just beautiful. We're all tired. It's just a light bulb moment. Um remember that you have a body when you're doing this. And oftentimes, actually, no, not oftentimes, I'm I'm gonna like say pretty much all of the time, spirits do not have a physical body. So unless you allow them into your space or allow experiences to happen to your physical self, they can't touch you unless you allow them. So just remember that they don't have a body.
SPEAKER_04And that's the note I had a little bit later on, but yes, definitely.
SPEAKER_00No, it's perfect timing right there because Yeah, because they can. What is it where that's so important because if you don't have that energetic boundary, then it's kind of open. You can be touched and poked at with your nervous system.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and I would like to also add to that that when you go into feeling-centered, when you release anything that's holding you back or anything you're holding on to, and then you put that shield around you, that's step one. If you're feeling fear in that moment, you can add another layer of protection. Nothing stops you from calling in an additional layer of white light to be a boundary, to calling in a mirror where they can't see you, but you can be present and you know, have the experience.
SPEAKER_01And I would like to also throw out there with that, Michelle, that you can also use your emotions to help guide you. If you step into fear, get pissed. Like, like, and and there's a spirit that's that's giving you a hard time. Like, I have told spirits to F off on numerous occasions because they come at me and it's not in a great way, you know, knocking things down in my space and stuff like that. And I have literally stopped and I look, I look up at where they are and I say, I have a physical body, you don't, so you can F off. And then I invite in to clear them over. And I realize that that sounds so incredibly harsh, but the the spirits that I'm talking about are really not great. They're like kind of the worst of the worst. And you know, like the one instance that I'm thinking of was I did a clearing actually in a prison, and it was not physically in the prison. So I was actually working on it from my home, and a spirit came through because they latched onto that like energetic opening and like caused like a ton of stuff to fall in my in my bathroom. So I had just like cleared and walked out, and then a bunch of stuff just like hit the floor and I turned around and I immediately stepped into fear. But then I went, uh-uh. No, I have a body. I did that grounding practice where I anchored in and I just stepped into my emotions and I got pissed and they left.
SPEAKER_04There's a lot I can say, but I do want to say I've never, I'm happy I've never been the recipient of being told to F off by you. Because I am sure it's brutal and it knocks you down.
SPEAKER_01It does not happen very often. I honestly don't know when I've I don't think I've ever said it to a single like living person.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I have. Does that mean I'm badass?
SPEAKER_01Oh, good. Badass with a great ass. Heck yeah.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah. Oh, I like that even better.
SPEAKER_02That might be my tagline. Would you say, wait, what? Badass. I said she's badass with a great ass. Oh, snap, snap. Snap, snap.
SPEAKER_04You can't bounce quarters off it or anything, but it's pretty nice. It's pretty tight. Okay, so the first thing to do when you're feeling fearful, we'll just move on from that, is step into your energetic boundaries. Another part of that is stepping into your intention and letting what you feel comfortable with be known. Step into it with, like I did, have that negotiation in that talk. If you want to show yourself, I'm open to it. Just don't be standing behind me, be standing beside my bed. Have that negotiation and set those boundaries both in thought and word. What do you think?
SPEAKER_01I like it.
SPEAKER_04Love it. There's no enthusiasm there. There is dead fucking hair.
SPEAKER_03Damn it, Carissa and Stacey, do better.
SPEAKER_04Sorry. I'm just step up to the challenge. Okay, well, how about we've Set our spiritual boundaries.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh. I've totally lost my train of thought. Let's just end this episode.
SPEAKER_02She's giving us a whooping. She's giving us a whooping.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Let's just move on from intention. So we talked about setting our spiritual boundaries. How about setting those physical boundaries? Are there things that you can do to protect your physical space spaces?
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. Absolutely. So I know in my house, I have two boundaries that I've created, which are basically an energetic agreement that I made between me and my guides. So if I am working, which this this all kind of started it, I'll say like during the era where everybody was working from home. If you know, you know. And I was finding that I was doing a lot more crossing over work, clearings and stuff in out of my house. So I had to create a space where I said it's okay for you guys to come through and you can come through pretty much all day. Like it's cool. Or I'm gonna close this down and I'm gonna create like a certain area. So I have a boundary in the at the very beginning of my hallway, which leads to my office and in my bedroom. If I'm in my living room, the boundary is up. They can't go further down into the home, into my home. And the boundary is just literally an agreement between me and my guides. Nothing goes beyond that point. If I'm in the living room in the kitchen, I can clear them and I can take care of them, you know, during the day. And then the second boundary is when I'm in my office. So the first boundary would come then, you know, essentially come down and then it would go up past my office space so they can come in and come to where I am and get crossed over or get what they need, which it's like it's interesting because when I talk about it, I can tell you that when I sit here and I'm working, I don't always notice how many spirits are actually coming through to being crossed over because so many of them are ready to move that it feels like um a rotating door sometimes. But that's that's what I do for my physical space.
SPEAKER_04Okay, how about you, Carissa?
SPEAKER_00For physical? You mean with I'm assuming you're meaning with spirits.
SPEAKER_04Well, I'm kind of talking about, yeah, with spirits or things you can do in the physical world. Like if the house is feeling heavy, you have the option of saging it. You can put salt around the boundaries of your house in order to put a physical boundary.
SPEAKER_00Sorry, I'm my my lack of enthusiasm and focus is sucking today. So if I I just energetically clear the space. I used to sage, I used to light the sage, and a lot of times, you know, that's a great psychological trick, trick. You know, you got to really believe it and feel it before it can happen. So I would sage the go into all the corners of each room and sage. But now I just sit with the house and I tap in to see if anyone's here, and then I just imagine clearing it out and it feeling lighter. Now I'm about to travel, and if if anything's in in there, if I feel heavy, I'm gonna see if anything needs to be crossed. But I do, I feel knock on wood, I have pretty good boundaries when I'm traveling these days. Don't don't bother me, don't wake me up, do my grid. But sometimes they slip in. So I tend to do crossing over work.
SPEAKER_04Okay, well, thank you both for those ideas for um physical barriers for me. I do sage my house, probably not as often as I should, but when things start going wrong or it starts feeling heavy or something feels off for my own peace of mind, as you said, that psychological trick I do sage, and then I have been known to put salt around my house or the perimeter of my property in order to keep things out. And like Stacey mentioned, there is a place that I'm like, if you need me to help you, you can wait there. And the only problem is I sometimes forget to check it, which is not very good. So moving on, how about uh uh crystals? If you're feeling fear, is there a crystal that you uh carry with you or you can hold in your hand or place in your bra to help ease that fear?
SPEAKER_00I used to use crystals, I don't anymore. That was it's more psychological for me. More what about y'all?
SPEAKER_01I wear a uh ring that has oh my gosh, uh it's two different stones, and I can't remember the name, but I also wear onyx quite a bit, but I don't do use those inherently.
SPEAKER_04Okay, and whenever I record, whenever I step into one of our meetings, into a reading, I always have crystals with me. The crystals I have with me for protection are black tourmaline, selenite, and amethyst. I also like the malachite.
SPEAKER_00I actually put, now that I remember, this was a while back, I put the what kind of crystal is it? I can't even remember, but I put them on top of my door. What's it called? The hello, somebody help me. Oh, the molding. Yes, the molding. Thank you. Okay. I put the crystals up there, but around the you know, on on top of the door frame. And I totally forgot about that because that was a few years ago. Yeah, so I'll give you some.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and I always travel with crystals just to have them close by because things pop in and I'm open to it, but I want my protection there too. And again, it's also a mental thing knowing it's there. And the last thing I have on my list, and I do this quite often, is I call in the archangels, especially Archangel Michael, who is a protector and a warrior. So if you're feeling fear, you can call in their assistance, but remember they only help you when you ask. So you have to remember to say, Archangel Michael, please be with me right now. Help me out. Um, I need your protection. And he'll be there. So those are the things I have. Would you guys like to add anything to any of those things?
SPEAKER_01I agree with you on the archangels. I do often call them in when I'm doing clearings or things get a little hairy, but that you're absolutely right. They won't come in if you don't ask.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Carissa, anything else you'd like to add about that list of things?
SPEAKER_00One more thing to help me with the fear. The I mean, honestly, experience, and the more things start to happen, you realize you should be more afraid of living human beings than the other side.
SPEAKER_03Isn't that the truth?
SPEAKER_00That's so true.
SPEAKER_04Well, they are scary, but there are a lot of really good people out there too. I know there's a lot of focus on that. Um, before closing out this episode, because this will be shared in late August, I want to tell you guys about something exciting that I'm doing that has to do with fear. And I didn't realize how fearful I was until we actually put the deposit down on the room. But in the next couple months, myself and two other badass psychic mediums, very talented, both just wonderful people, we are going to stay in a haunted house overnight. A well-known haunted house overnight. And then I thought we were gonna go visit and do a little like ghost hunting, but I didn't realize we were gonna sleep there. And no, and it's on the floor. On the floor, yeah. I have to bring a sleeping bag and a pillow.
SPEAKER_00No, I'm not going.
SPEAKER_04I am terrified. I am actually amazed.
SPEAKER_00I'm not terrified. I wouldn't be terrified. I was gonna go. I'm not wouldn't be terrified of the house. I'm terrified of not getting sleep.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. We're all terrified of the thought of you not getting sleep, Chris.
SPEAKER_00I'm not like I will then be possessed. I will then be possessed if I don't get sleep. I'm not sleeping on the floor. I'd rather stay in the most haunted, haunted place in the world with a cush bed than have to sleep on the floor. What about you, Stacey? You're probably like, I'll sleep on the floor.
SPEAKER_01I I would go. I would be there in a heartbeat.
SPEAKER_04I mean well, I will let you know how it goes. I am doing a lot of research, listening to podcasts on this house, which I'll share after staying there. I'm reading books about it, and I won't be looking in any mirror if they have one in the bathroom. Like, I'll just I don't want anything standing behind. Like, I truly am rethinking this. I'm not rethinking it like I won't be. It's gonna be fun, but just fearful of the unknown and trying to come to terms with that because I've seen it before. I just haven't knowingly spent the night in a hard time.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but you're gonna be with two friends, it's not gonna be a biggie.
SPEAKER_04I know, I know, and they're gonna be.
SPEAKER_00That's not so. Y'all are gonna probably keep each other up by little noises and creaks and stuff, probably more than anything in the middle of the night.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04Well, I'm opening it.
SPEAKER_00Don't freeze someone's bra. We're too old for that.
SPEAKER_04Or put their hand in water. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I did that when I was in elementary and she peed on the carpet. My mom was pissed the next morning. She's like, who peed all the carpet? I was like, I don't know. We don't know. Oh my gosh. That's so embarrassing. Oh my god. Well, she didn't even know. She was asleep. We didn't tell her the next day.
SPEAKER_04Well, who did you? How did she think her sleeping bag got wet? I mean, she had to know.
SPEAKER_00She was just on the I don't know. I don't know. We just were like, listen to pajamas would have been actually, actually, we didn't even know she peed until my mom we all left. And then my mom walked in it, and she was like, What the hell?
SPEAKER_01She was probably mortified and so embarrassed. And if she's listening to this podcast, now she knows what you did to her. Jeez.
SPEAKER_02I was in third grade.
SPEAKER_04Everything's funny in third grade.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's true. It is true.
SPEAKER_04Well, I am open again to sharing the experience because it'll probably be about Halloween time. And I think we should have a spooky Halloween episode. Yes.
SPEAKER_00Yes. We should go somewhere spooky for Halloween.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. And I would be open to anyone listening to this podcast who has a frightening experience in a haunted house or just in life, if they want to write in and share it with us and they're okay with us sharing it in the podcast. I'd be open to hearing from them.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01We can all read them.
SPEAKER_00If you all want to, the listeners want to tell us about a haunted place on the east coast you want us to go visit. We'll all go and do a podcast there.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you got you guys are coming to the east coast now?
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_04Not in the dead of winter show.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, not in the dead of winter. Not in winter. When does it start snowing, Stacey? It depends.
SPEAKER_01October, September. Ew. Yeah, it it's so and I mean here in New Hampshire is weird. You know, sometimes we can have uh early, early snows, but it it just varies.
SPEAKER_00Well, if someone says it, Michelle and I are going up, right, Michelle? We are.
SPEAKER_01We are guys. Let's let's get him let's get him to the the East Coast here. Upper East Coast.
SPEAKER_04Yep, we're all about it. Well, anything else you want to share about fear and working through it in order to continue your spiritual journey?
SPEAKER_01I'll say sometimes you gotta own your fear. I had to own it so that I could start working as a medium. I had to acknowledge and and kind of step into my fear and allow it to kind of just be in my awareness. And while sometimes I still step into fear, it's a lot easier now to move through it.
SPEAKER_04I love that. Any parting wisdom?
SPEAKER_00I had to learn how to wrap my head around it. I have to have logical reasoning. And when I can apply logical reasoning to it, which anything can. It really can. It doesn't mean it's right, wrong, good or bad. You just have to find meaning out of it that works for you. And then the fear dissipates.
SPEAKER_04So true. And I thought I'd work through a lot of my fear, but as I approach this upcoming trip, I know I still have work to do. So I'll be looking into my shadow side and my inner child and trying to tweak that a little bit and keep up with the boundary work and the intentions.
SPEAKER_02Stacy, will you with all that? I know.
SPEAKER_04I can't even talk. I'm jet-lagged.
SPEAKER_02You're squasty. You're squasty. Yeah, dig it. I like it.
SPEAKER_04Stacy, take us out of this episode, please.
SPEAKER_02Hey, stay classy. Stay slashy. And stay classy. Until next week. Bye, guys. Bye.
