It is a friend of ours, and Michelle and this friend Bonnie went and did something spooky, and they are here to tell us all about it. Hello, everybody. Hi, everyone. Hi there. So what's going on?

I cannot wait to hear these stories. I've been waiting. Gosh. Oh my gosh. Bonnie and I had such an amazing adventure. And we were in Las Vegas. We didn't do anything that should stay in Vegas. Like we can share everything that we did here. And then we went up to Tonopah, Nevada. It's a little haunted, I would say almost ghost town, but it's still a thriving town. So not quite ghost yet.

Oh, I mean, but it was haunted. That's why you went.

It is yes. There's a hotel there called the Mitzvah, and it is a haunted hotel. Yeah, I can't wait to talk about the little town because it's got a lot of history and quirks of its own. So maybe we should start from the beginning, which is Bonnie's arrival in Las Vegas. Yeah. Everything was on time. She gets there, her luggage arrives. Yeah, she had to be up at 6 a.m. Florida time. And our tour was not until 10 p.m. Vegas time. So this lady, I felt so bad for her. She was running on fumes. Fumes.

Yes. Like what time would that be? What time, what time would that be? Because I my brain doesn't function that way. Like to me, I'm I immediately go back like what three hours?

It's a three-hour difference. Yes. So I when I got up at six o'clock my time, it would have been 3 a.m. Vegas. And I didn't get back to bed until 3 a.m. Vegas. So it was a 24-hour I mean I slept a couple, you know, minutes, but I was so amped up and so ready to get, you know, into things that I had a hard time having those naps. But yeah, I I was running on fumes. And my first lesson, and we always do these trips and we have lessons, right? My first lesson is when I'm going to Vegas, I'm going to allow for a full, you know, 24 hours to acclimate to the elevation. Because, you know, at Florida, elevation is like 10 and below sea level. Vegas is, I don't know what it was, 2000. And then Topino is like 6,000. So I was affected definitely by that first lesson. But it I couldn't wait. I couldn't get those naps in. So excited.

Well, I think I feel like because you're just after 30 years old, like at some point after 30, that whole sleep thing becomes so much more important that being awake for 24 hours is just, it hurts. It just hurts. Yes.

It's painful. And especially again as you get older and you go to bed earlier, usually if you're living your regular day-to-day life. So we're stretching it at 10 o'clock, but that is the time they do the flashlight tour at the Zach Bagan's haunted museum. Now, do you guys watch ghost adventures at all?

I've seen a few episodes. And I just also want to say, Bonnie, I'm not calling you old by any means. I've seen a few episodes. It's important to say because if you're calling her old, you're calling me old.

So I I don't remember where I was at, but we were ghost adventures. Oh yeah. If you've seen Ghost Adventures, of course, the host is Zach Begins. I went to the Haunted Museum's website and I did a little bit of research and found out some interesting facts about Zach. One of them being that he has been interested in the paranormal and things that go bump in the night since he was like 10 years old. So much so that at that age he would go to garage sales and he would go to his mother's antique store and look for those items that spoke to him.

Yes. And then he had hiself into trouble with any of those items out of curiosity. I don't watch Ghost Adventures every week to know that he's gotten himself into trouble, but I do know in s several episodes that I've heard about, he's not feeling well. He gets grumpy or agitated. Bonnie would know because she is the one that watches Ghost Adventures most often.

I do. I watch it a lot. I love the experiences that they share. I it is there's a lot of drama that he adds to it, but I believe he is definitely getting, you know, the evidence. But I've seen a couple episodes where they're in the haunted museum, and he it Zach does feel a lot of that clairsentience. He gets those emotions, those feelings, those things. So he's talked about a lot of his items in his museum that he has that he's already had effects from, and he has multiple stories about those and where they've come from. So they're it's really cool. And I wish that I would have done a little bit more research on the items in there because we were going in there at night, it was pitch black. I'd never been in there before. And that's another thing. I I we could have done like a day tour or something where we could get like maybe a little history on some of the things. So, but when we were walking in there, it was so overwhelming. There are so many items, very, very interesting items. And I love, you know, learning about all that. And I I wish I would have done a little bit more of that before going. But um, you live and you learn.

So yeah, that would have been definitely a good idea. The first lesson we learned because I had my private vehicle, the vehicle I own, the vehicle I park at my house in Vegas. And for me, I just didn't want to take it onto the property of a haunted museum. And so we took a taxi cab to this location because I didn't know where it was. I didn't know if it was safe. And I just have to share this story. It's a little bit of a one-off. We're in this taxi cab, this guy's driving us, and the tour gets over like at midnight. And so I'm like, how easy is it to get a taxi cab? Is this area safe? And he's like, well, it's relatively safe, but to get a taxi cab where you're going, I don't really know. But you can walk a mile and a half to the stratosphere and get a cab there because they always have cabs there. And I'm thinking, dude, we're two females. It's midnight. There is no chance in hell that after going through a haunted museum, stepping into a neighborhood, I don't know that we're going to walk that far.

So I was a little bit on edge about that. But I will say the Begins Museum, it has its security. It is well protected. And there are security guards there 24-7. As you're checking in, there's something there that gives you instructions on ordering an Uber, what address to give it to. So they have thought this out. And I will say thank you to them for that because I did feel safe and I did feel protected on the outside of that property.

It is really cool. And as Bonnie said, flashlight tour, it's dark. We can't have our phones on because it might interfere with the equipment. And they loan us equipment. Like Bonnie had to give her ID so they would give us equipment to walk through the house with.

Oh, wow. Okay. So they are, they are very much so. Like this is how it is, and there are no exceptions.

When we got there, they didn't tell us much about the exhibits in there. We should have done our homework, but they did give us a few rules. Most of them were like general knowledge, like don't sit on a chair that looks like it's gonna break, or don't go behind curtains because you could fall. The only exhibit that they gave us specific instructions about, and I think it's because someone asked, is Peggy the doll. And the instructions to go in to see Peggy the doll were don't look her in the eyes. And when you walk into the room, say hello, and when you leave, be sure to say goodbye. Those were the only instructions we got in this whole museum that's filled with everywhere you turn, clowns, dolls. I'm just trying to think. There was just everywhere you turn, there was something.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I wouldn't have followed the rules if I was there.

I'd be like, I'm not, it's a doll. I'm gonna look the doll in the eyes.

I'm gonna be like, I I wouldn't have done. I was gonna follow the rules. And I think Bonnie did too, but it was very interesting. And Bonnie can elaborate on this. But Peggy, in the room she's in, she's in a box. There is a spirit box right there, and then below her are hundreds of dolls. And each of them looks so creepy.

Okay, like I'm glad you're diving right into Peggy because I want to hear this entire experience.

So we walk into the room and we're we're able to close the door behind us. So it's just us in the room and we're looking around. The spirit box is saying nothing. Like there it it's it's I was like, Do you feel anything? And I don't think you felt very much. And I I wasn't feeling anything either. And I was I wanted to look her in the eyes, but I then I got a little bit like maybe not today. Some but it was very even keel in there, which I was, what is going on? It's I want you know, I wanted to see what what kind of activity or what I might be feeling, but I didn't feel anything in that room. I did recently just watch an episode on Peggy the doll. And I wonder now, had I watched that before, knowing the story behind where she comes from, do you think that would have changed my experience? I wonder. Tell me about Peggy.

Yeah. Peggy is a very pretty doll. Like to look at her, and again, I didn't look her in the eyes, I just saw her shape. I've seen pictures of her on TV or the internet, wherever. Uh, she's a very pretty doll. She just looks so pure, she looks so innocent. The dolls below her were all kind of scary looking. There was a shrine to her in that room where people actually may ask a question.

Yes. Do you think it was by design that the other dolls were scary looking or not pretty like she was? Do you think that's intentional?

I think that's a picture.

It could be. But we went in there. Definitely darker. Yeah. There's a shrine where people leave things to Peggy in this room. There were playing cards, there were people's IDs, there were people's room keys. There was so much. Yep, that's her. But we're looking her in the eye right now. Yeah, but it's a picture. But that's part of the lore of Peggy. Like Peggy was gifted to a British psychic who worked with antique dolls. And the psychic started having experiences with her. So she wanted to kind of know what's going on with this Peggy doll. I want to kind of know before I put her picture out there. And the lure behind that is when she finally did post the picture, people who would see it on the internet just looking at it, were having reactions. Interesting. Yeah. To include, well, just real quick, to include like nosebleeds, nausea, migraine headaches, things like that.

It's it's interesting. And I and I'm gonna share this kind of because it just clicked in in my mind. I actually had a dream about selling porcelain dolls the other day. Did you? Out of the blue. Like it was, I think not last night, but the night before, I dreamt of all of the porcelain dolls I've ever owned.

I was hmm, maybe it was I was thinking maybe it would have been the night we were there, but anyhow. As Bonnie said, the room, not a lot of activity and activity in there. Interesting. What was that?

I said, and don't you think that's interesting?

I do. And I'll tell you a little bit because there was that spirit box there. And while it didn't talk to us, there were three words on the spirit box. And one of the spirit box words was Betty. And I will tell you that an hour before entering the museum, my husband and I grabbed dinner at the Side Betty Cafe. So it didn't appear when I was in the room. Kind of a coincidence. And then the next day when I was talking to Bonnie about it, we were in the town of BD, B-E-A-T-T-Y. So I'm like, oh, that's kind of weird, but interesting. Interesting. Do you want to say anything else about that room and your experience with Peggy?

No, I think that was the that was pretty much, you know, the gist of it. Yeah.

And then when we left the room, because while we didn't have a guide to tell us where to go or what was going on, there was a guide available in case anyone started to feel sick. And we walked by and she's like, Do you get anything? We're like, nope. And she's like, that's the way Peggy's been lately. You're not gonna, I mean, she's not really talking.

Yeah. If you hadn't followed the rules, she probably would have, but I I don't know if I would have pushed that button too hard.

No, you know, I was just surprised. Like they had that whole shrine and people actually leaving their IDs and stuff. I didn't even want to pee there because I'm like, that's my DNA in that mix somewhere. So yeah, energy.

Your energy. Your energy, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I wonder why the IDs. I think that's that to me is the probably the one bizarre thing.

That is their driver's license?

Like their IDs, like school IDs. That is players' cards, bracelets. I mean, there was so much there.

Talking about playing cards, while we in the got out of the cab and walking the grounds, I saw a playing card on the ground. And it had, it was, it was, I think it was hearts, but there was a heart that was blacked out, and then there were like scribbles on this card. I just felt called to pick it up. I'm like, I'll look at this later. I put it in my purse and I kept it for a little while.

And did you what would it what did it say?

I don't know what it said. Oh, you haven't looked at it? I looked at it, but it didn't say anything. It was just scribbles.

That happened on Saturday. And on Monday, Bonnie found psychic to do a reading for us. And just before the psychic got there, she pulled out the card and put it on the table. Tell her what the lady said, Bonnie.

SPEAKER_03 15:01

Yeah. So Monday was my last night there, and we were like, what are we gonna do? I said, well, maybe there's a psychic we can bring in or go to. And um, she ended up coming back to the room, and I had my playing card on there on the table, and she's like, she's looking at it, and she's looking at it. And I said, Yeah, I kind of found that. And she's like, You gotta, I'm taking that with me. You can't keep that. That's voodoo, and that's there's some something dark attached to it. So I'm like, Oh, okay, yeah, you can have it. Take it.

Was it a good reading? It was a wonderful reading. It was one of those readings that's just kind of telling you everything going on in your life. And I swear, if I didn't know differently, I would have said she was in the car with Bonnie and I when we drove back from Tonopah, like spot on. Everything we talked about.

It was crazy. Anything like that stood out?

Just the fact that it was like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

Yeah, information.

Yeah, boom, boom, boom. It was the best way to explain that. If we jump back to the museum, though, because we're getting to something that happened there. The next room we stepped into was the how do you say it? The dibuck du debuck debuck box, which is supposed to be the most haunted item in the museum. And there was nothing. We didn't feel anything, we didn't react to anything.

It was just box didn't talk, no activity on the EMFs. Yeah. But it was interesting. I w I watched that episode today too, and the history behind this box is horrifying. When we left, I said, I'm not, I don't feel like I need to go back. Now I feel like I need to go back.

I'm feeling that way too. And I had said the same thing as you. Can you share a little bit about the of that history about this box? The darkness, however you say it. The thing, because I started to watch that episode, which is the Haunted Museum by Zach Begins. It's on Discovery Plus. You can find it there. And it says that dark spirits attach to the living for incomplete business.

So it's held with spirits.

Yeah, dark spirits in it, or there it's holding it. But again, we we got nothing there on that floor. Now, the way the tour was designed, there were 20 of us there. The house is broken up into two sections, the back of it, the front of it, and we started in the front of it. And the idea is we have time with each of these exhibits as we want. When we walk in there, we close the door behind us, nobody will bug us. So we're on this floor, and we decide then to go down a level. And that level was off the hooks, stuff going on. And the first thing we heard, because we were upstairs, we kept hearing this like click clicking, not a bell, but it was a bell. And it was a spiritual bell, and it was in front of a picture of a man, and I don't know what else was there. But Bonnie started talking to it and tell him what happened, Bonnie.

Okay, you're gonna have to. But I know I was asking questions, and I was asking, yes, ring yes, uh once for yes, twice for no, and every question that I was asking it was like responding intelligently.

Like the results were just like and she finally said to it, can you give me a no? Because everything was yes, and it did. It went dun dun like two. That was pretty cool. Pretty cool.

And then near that ex go ahead. Did that make you pause for a moment and just go that that just happened? Like that oh yeah. Because I think me, I I would have been like, I'm I'm having this intelligent conversation with something that's not actually physically present, and I don't know what to do with that at the same time, even though we all have experience with with spirits, right? But I think having that opportunity would still give me pause. It did.

And it was one of those things where we looked at each other and then you got the full body or the head confirmations that something was going on here. So from there, this floor had a lot going on. To the right, I think it was, let me check my notes because I tried to write it all down so I didn't forget anything. I think to the right was the original staircase from the demon house. And they had like a fake demon. And every time this kid, and this kid was an enthusiast, like he follows Zach, and he had been there several times before. Every time he walked in the room, this would just go off. And there was another room with like the devil's chair or something like that. I believe that's what the exhibit was. I couldn't take notes there, and it was going off in there too. So all this dinging ringing going on on this floor. And the next part, there's a hallway there, and we enter it, and it is the display of the killing room of the Kansas City butcher, Robert Berdella. And when I walked into that room, I got the most sickening smell of like very sweet popcorn mixed with I don't know what. And I started to feel sick. I'm kind of like, ah, take this smell. I don't, I can't even explain it. It was so sickening sweet, but it's Bonnie, do you have like a better description?

It it definitely is a sweet, toxic smell. It was it was weird.

This butcher, he was known to drug his victims and do things like that. So I don't know, maybe chloroform or something. I don't know if that was ever used, but I've never smelled chloroform, but it is said to be sweet. I would really hope you've never smelt chloroform. That would be a problem. I never have. That's why you're worried out there that I've chloroformed somebody or myself. I haven't.

Oh, it's hilarious. So that was a disturbing room.

It was very uncomfortable because they had like actual his actual logs of how he tortured and brutalized these people. And he had drawings and they had sheets that had actual body fluids on it. Yeah. From it was just very, very dark. And it was very hard to be in that room. And I will say, not while I was there, and you'll find out in a minute why, but that museum holds a lot of serial killer memorabilia. It holds things from John Wayne Gacy to include a self portrait, sunglasses from Ted Bundy, something from Charles Manson, Samuel Little. I'm probably forgetting a few, but Zach has done his job. He has gone and he's collected things and created this museum. So there's all that going on. And Bonnie, she kept looking at me. She's like, Are you okay? Are you okay? I'm like, I just have to get out of the space. And then what happened, Bonnie?

And then we went into another exhibit. And I instantly felt dizzy. I I got the spins and then I started feeling icky and gross. And I thought I was gonna throw up or come out the other way. I'm like, are you feeling okay? Like I'm just starting to feel really, really gross right now. And she's like, I'm okay. I said, okay, but I think I have to go.

And then I was so happy she was saying we had to go because I was just putting on a brave face at that point.

I'm like, I I have to go right now. So we found the security person and she took us out right away and sat down and like I need water right now. It it it it came over me really like instantly. Now, mind you, I am I'm running on fumes and like I don't know if that had anything to do with it or if this room just really kind of pushed it to the max where I'm like, okay, I'm done now.

Did anything happen in the room? Or was it just walking in and feeling the energy? And you were like just yeah, just walking in.

I didn't know, I don't even know what room it was. Like I I like until we got out of there, or I think we're back at the hotel or somewhere where you you found out what room it was. I'm like, I don't even know how that is. But I instantly felt dizzy and it was like the spins which made that feeling of nausea really kind of like worsen.

And if any of you want to go find the story of that room because it is all her equipment that they brought and replicated her living room, it's in episode two of season one in the haunted museum. And the individual's name is Esther Levin, and she was kind of considered to be very eccentric, she was very smart. I think she's a little estranged from her family or she didn't interact a lot with other people. And this happened back in 2002, I believe. But she used all this equipment to make contact with entities from another realm. And like she would write down notes, put it in one thing, write down notes, put it in the other, and try to connect. And for her, she thought she was connecting with a guardian angel, but what came out was a demon, which ended up killing her. So that's kind of her story.

It was a killer. Just see from what I watched, it was just like the pressure and and just the uh presence, like strangulation. She's like it was just like took her energy. Yeah.

And they they found her, and then he so he brought everything back into the room. And again, it's creepy. You're walking into this living room. The TV, I believe, is there and it's static y, like it was when they found her. And I will say the haunted museums is not like other ghost adventures. He is taking items from his museum and doing reenactments of what probably happened, what his vision is or what their vision is could have been the case. The one they did on Peggy the Doll, they did not use the real Peggy in the episode because they didn't want anyone to get sick, but they did show her at the end. They warned people, like, we're gonna show you now at the end.

I I just had to look up the name that you just just supplied. And the first thing that popped up is like 44 murders connected with a woman like crazy.

So I So I I will tell you, when I watched that episode of Esther with her her machines, I okay, I'm I love horror thriller movies. Like I I don't get scared easily. I was scared watching the episode. Like I felt the fear in her. So I don't know if if there was a connection that that would have been there for me as I walked into that room, but I legit was terrified watching that episode. And I'm I I'm I watch these shows all the time. Like, why am I terrified? And I'm very sorry.

Yeah, and I did find, coincidence or not, that before I went into the museum, I tapped in and I came up with like really like glitchy energy in the house. I saw these snakes and I saw this upside-down spider or something. And when I was watching the show, which again, all reenactment, they were all in that episode, along with, and we'll talk about it in a future episode because we go to mitzvah or Tonopah. We go to Tonopah, and while we're there, we had an experience with an alarm. And in this episode, there is this alarm that just keeps going off. So for me, it kind of felt like validation that what happened to Bonnie there was what we thought it was.

I absolutely believe it's what you thought it was. Like, there is no, like, in just a quick Google search. I mean, the information that's popping up for me, I'm kind of like, like, ooh.

Yeah, so we made it through the front half of the house. We did not make it through the second half of the house because we got an Uber and we left. I will say, my initial thought, I immediately stepped into, I did not enjoy that experience because I'm not a person, I don't like antiques. You'll never see me in an antique shop. But here he's brought all these things from different places, put them in one house, and it was too much. For Zach Begins, for the Ghost Adventures people, he did perfectly. He did exactly what he wanted to do. It's perfect. But for me, I would rather go to a haunted location that's the way it kind of was, hear the history of it and have the experiences there, which it's not so cluttered and overwhelming.

That this the I actually have a question about this location. Do they let people stay the night? No. Both of both I you can't see them, but both of them are shaking their heads adamantly.

Um yeah. We did find it interesting upon leaving because I said, you know, earlier I didn't want to park my car on property, but I did ask the guards, like the houses around here, do they have experiences? Because there's a really nice house right next to the museum. And we did find out that that house is owned by Zach Begins, and that is the Ghost Adventures corporate office or whatever, right there.

So they do all their editing in that building in the yeah, right next door.

Do they have activity? Did he say, did he answer the question? Or did he say it's a business? So they they wouldn't know. He didn't answer the question.

Interesting. We did ask uh one of the girls sitting outside of a room if she ever has had any experiences. And she's like, nah, sometimes I hear some footsteps. Well, that's something pretty nonchalant, but that's something.

I guess if you're stepping into a role where you are working at a place like that, yeah, you have to expect something. And to me, footsteps would not be as daunting as walking by and having somebody like call my name, for example. Or, you know. That's really interesting.

Yeah, but a week removed, would I go back? Yeah. I write you. Probably during the day with a guide so I could understand what I'm seeing. Because I'm sure I missed a lot. I'm sure just like being overwhelmed having a flashlight to read everything, I'm sure I missed a lot, but I would go back.

See, I feel like I would do, I would want to do both. I'd want to do the day and then go into the night. And like when I was able to go at night, you know, be familiar with what you're looking at too. But I also feel like I'd be setting myself up for expectations too of what I anticipate seeing.

And Bonnie made a good point before we even went in that she didn't feel like we needed to protect ourselves, like we've had to protect ourselves in other areas. We, of course, called in our guides. We did our traditional tarot card. You know, we drew two cards each before we went in, looked at them, and then two cards after. And for me, my two cards going in is like it's on path, stay within your boundaries, do what you're comfortable with, but you're protected. And the cards about how I felt about it after it's a five five of pentacles, but my card has a person like sitting. What is that position where you're holding your knees on the floor and everything around her is so big and just going inwards. So that was my and that's exactly how I felt.

Yeah, yeah. It was it was a good experience. I would do it a little different next time. But that's okay.
