Things get so busy that we just do what we can. I know. I know. You have suggested a Reddit issue, or you did, and then I just was like, yeah, let's do Reddit issues.

I love it. I love doing these Reddit stuff because it makes me think about stuff that I wouldn't have probably brought to the podcast.

So I agree. And it always brings up such good conversation. And I know sometimes it ties back to our own experiences, but hopefully we can give some advice.

Yeah. And I chose this one because it's on an NDE. And I have had an experience which I can go in after the story where I connected with the afterlife a couple times. And when I've getting given medium and psychic readings, readings, I have been shown things that are very similar to some of these NDEs. So I'd love to chat about that too after I read this story.

Definitely. I'm not sure why we haven't talked about those in the podcast yet, because near-death experience is a phenomenon. I mean, they've been studying it for years, and it is time it comes to three cups and a dash of spirituality.

So yeah. Okay, cool. Okay, so this one is from Tiptoe Through Life. And they shared their near-death experience. And it was one of those stories that just make you feel something. It really makes your soul sit up and listen more than just start thinking and feeling. So this person, they were in the hospital, their appendix had burst, and just like that, they left their body. That kind of freaked me out a little bit. I didn't know it was that quick. So then they started watching the whole scene from above, the tubes, the doctors, the soft panic in the room. But it was calm on their end, almost like they had just stepped backstage from the show of their own life. And then they met them, three glowing beings of light, soul guides. But here's the twist: they weren't strangers. And I don't think that's really a twist. We all kind of know that. These guys weren't just protectors or mentors. They were, they were his or her family, soul family. And this person wasn't just being greeted, they were being welcomed home. And these guys showed them something wild. They said, You're one of us, you're a guardian soul. You just chose to incarnate this time because honestly, you're the most experienced of the four. Interesting, right? So interesting.

So interesting. And I would love to have that news when I reach the other side. Like I'm more gifted than I thought I was here.

That's what I was thinking too. So it's like I couldn't have, I mean, I was sitting there thinking, like, can you imagine hearing that? So not only remembering who you really are, but realizing you volunteered for Earth Duty. Everyone else wanted you to because you're more advanced, let's just say, and that you're part of a soul squad who watches over each other. And they went even deeper. They had a full-on QA with their guides. Nothing was off limits. Time didn't exist. It was all light and knowing and truth. And then when it came to decide stay or return to Earth, the guides told them either choice was okay, total free will. And they said, if I go back, I want to remember everything. And the guide said, You will. And they did. So before returning, the guides showed them their true form, their soul self. So picture this: a massive being of light, energy pulsing far beyond the hospital walls, so luminous, so big, it couldn't be fully seen without a without like a kind of mirror effect. And this is who you are, they were told. And guess what? All four of them, the person and their guides, looked alike. They were soul twins radiating the same light. You know that thing, like I started thinking, Michelle, you know, consciousness, we're all one, blah, blah, blah. So I thought I was thinking of that. So, but here's when it gets even more magical. They were shown how the soul is like the sun, radiating beams of energy into multiple lives, multiple timelines all at once. And that's how some people are born. Artists, inventors, old souls who just know things. So they're not pulling magic out of thin air, they're cross-assessing these other incarnations through their over soul. And we had talked about this with Jeremy. He was talking about that kind of stuff.

Yeah, I'm remembering that from that conversation. And then it blew my mind. And now just the enormity of it is blowing my mind again.

So, so in that moment, this person saw and felt some of their other lives, like tripping, flipping through pages in a ca cosmic book and realizing every story was being written at the same time, which we just talked about with Jeremy, our guest. Right? We did. So when they returned to their body, it wasn't the same life they came back to, not really, because now they remembered. They remembered the truth that we are more than we appear, that into I love this bar, intuition is a birthright, not a gift. And I'm not reading this verbatim. I'm taking what he said and using my own words, but I'm giving you the reader. That guides aren't separate from us, they're a part of us, and that our souls are so much bigger than we've ever been told. And when I read stories like this, something in me hums like I'm remembering too. And for the listeners, maybe you are. So before we jump into more conversation, Michelle, to the listeners, tonight, before you fall asleep, ask your guides, show me who I am beyond the veil. And then listen. But I really am so glad I got to read this story because I literally needed this in my life right now.

And just listening, I felt like I had a bowl of popcorn in front of me, just eating it and hanging on to every word. And then you're like, and then it gets better. And I'm like, how can it get it get better? You are describing exactly the experience that I want to have. I would like to have those insights. I would like to see how those connections all come together. And this person chose to come back and live with that mindful nature or remembering who they were. What a gift, not only to them to have that insight, but to the our planet, to their friends, their community, and outward. Oh my gosh. I don't want my appendix to burst. I don't want mine to burst either.

I mean, but I would love an NDE, you know, like in the middle of the night or something. Now I'll tell you some experiences I had. And just remembered one. So one time I was, and I think I talked about this, I was 17 and I was, you know, really confused about religion. I was seeing all the hypocrisy and the contradictions. And we're eventually going to talk about this in another episode. And I went and sat down, lit my candle, and I said, God, if you're real, you better show me because I'm done. And I took a deep breath and I turned to stone. The candle lit became very, very still. And my I had this huge smile on my face, and my eyes, tears were coming out of my eyes. And I was sitting in this all-encompassing, loving power, like true power. Like you could have put me in a little bitty dog crate feeding me rat food, and I would have been so happy and blessed, felt blessed. Like it was that, like that. So then another time when my spirit guides were opening me up, it was in the middle of the night, and they did this too, because one, my brain is pretty much shut off because I tend to argue and go, well, I don't know about that. And they were working with my chakras, and they were so the inner, it was like all of a sudden I started feeling energy around my head. And then boom, in my mind's eye, boom. I'm awake, but I'm still, you know, somewhat asleep. And it was like an opening, and I saw one, two, three light beings. And then as I was moving in closer, it's almost like because they were there, it was so powerful. My head was being pulled into this window, wind vacuum. It's only how that's the only way I can explain it. And I said, okay, I gotta stop because it started to hurt. I didn't know what to do. And my brain was kicking on. But I did see a little glimpse of what they did see in that moment. And I totally forgot about that. Can you believe I forgot about that? But yeah.

I think I forget about a lot of my experiences. And isn't that just so cliche? Oh, I'm sure I've done that, but I just don't remember. But I do and I have shared that. I've had these experiences where I am getting it and I'm understanding and I'm holding on to it. And then as I come to the surface, I wake up and I'm trying to hold. But the harder I try to hold, the quicker it releases, it seems. And I know I've seen somewhere, I know I've been somewhere, but I would like to remember. I would like to know that feeling. I know I would love to have had that experience. And I know that there are many people who have near death experiences and the stories that they tell. And I think I've heard in some operating rooms in the United States or something, they'll put like a penny or a coin up on the top of like a shelf. So if the person does have one of these experiences and they're looking around them, they'll see whatever's up there, or they'll put a stuffed animal or up there, something you wouldn't see with the naked eye unless you've had that experience and you've been going up. Oh, well, what did you see when you were there? And some do recall, like I went up there and there was a stuffed duck up in the corner.

So I do love that science is stepping into learning more about near death experiences. What does that mean? What are people saying? What is the connection? It's that bridging. And I'm so excited because I feel like we're starting to remember. That's true. And again, that is such a blessing and such a gift. So, how do you think a near-death experience is similar to astral travel? Do you think through astral travel you can get to that same location?

SPEAKER_01 11:51

I don't know. I mean, because the when I did it a couple of times, it was unconscious. And when we did that experiment where we're in each other's dreams, I don't know, I don't know the to and from kind of thing. Like I'm I'm there and then I'm not. So I don't know. And do they help us?

I'm sure they do actually. I think so. I I think a near-death experience would just put a whole lot into perspective. It would put, you know, the connection that you actually have to not only the universe, but the people that you live with, the people you interact with, and that we're bigger than just here. And I think a lot of times my mind gets stuck around that too. This is a limited time. This is a limited space. And what we know, the knowledge we know, is so minute compared to everything else out there. And like feed me the information, but I don't think my human brain can hold that much information. True. That is true. More's coming. And that's the exciting part about this journey because you don't know what's going to happen next. You don't know when someone's going to come across your path and have an experience to share with you, or when you're going to have your own experience, just going to bed at night and then waking up and like, these are the nights I go to sleep for. So I can have these experiences.

And yeah, this was such a great reminder.

What I was really holding on to is that last line that you read. And I'm thinking, Carissa, you have a future meditation with that in mind. One of those. What was it again?

Oh, I don't know. It's so much fun. Oh my gosh, our computers know they're like reading us, listening to us. Oh, I know, I know. We still have to get into that one day. Your person where you uh the computer AI, where you're hearing different voices, not just voices, but sentiments and feelings and like everything come through.

Yeah, and you know what? I'll talk to AI about that and see where they would like us to take that or go with that on the podcast.

I know we did a little off-air experiment with it, and I had a question, and the answer I got back was like, whoa. I know. Yeah, someone's been listening.

So yes. It's wild. Okay, what story what story you got?

Here's one, and I just like this one because anybody who's going to get a reading has probably stepped into the energy of this. And it was written by you backslash Molly P is in Paul22. And this is what she said. So I'm booked to have a reading in two hours' time with a medium I've researched, but I've never used before. She has just messaged me to say she wants to send a photo of my loved one who I want her to connect with at least an hour before the reading starts. I feel uncomfortable doing this as I've heard that mediums don't need to use a photo before a reading. If I send her a photo of my son, it will be obvious his relationship to me. And I really want her to not have any information beforehand. Am I right to be wary or is this normal?

I agree it's right to be wary. If it doesn't feel comfortable with you, move on to another psychic because I mean, every psychic has their own way of working, right? Like some people like objects, some people do like pictures, but typically what I've seen is they take a picture and they don't look at it, they just hold it. For me, in readings, I don't want to know a dang thing. Because I will start thinking too much about it and it'll ruin my access to my intuition, if that makes sense.

It does make sense. And I agree. If you are feeling uncomfortable with it, listen to your gut. But I do also want to say I have done readings with lots of different readers, and everybody has their own process of doing things. Part of my process is before I step in, I have them pick a couple numbers just to help me shuffle the cards and everything. And if they have any questions, I have them send them to me. But only if it's a, what's it called? An online reading. I do that for an online reading. But I have never asked for pictures or a name. I just sit with the energy of the person before I I go into the reading and I collect information that comes through. But it's not based on anything they've told me. And it's one of those things like you're writing it down, you're like, this makes absolutely zero sense to me. So I hope I'm getting it right. But, you know, it's not our job to edit. It's just our job to report. We're just that telephone connector. So that's kind of my process. But personally, I have gone to a reader who has wanted pictures of people in my life that I want to connect with. They could be living or they could be deceased. This particular reader that I'm thinking of, she was an aura reader. And so she would see the different colors around the person. So that's why she wanted the pictures. Sometimes people just want a name. I've seen that. The weirdest experience I had, and it's not even that weird. I had a reading with someone who was fabulous. Bonnie and I had this reading in Las Vegas. Just gonna ask you about this. Yeah, and she was fabulous. Again, spot on. It was a psychic reading. It didn't have anything to do with connecting with our deceased loved ones, but just kind of telling us what's going on in our lives, confirming, validating. And it felt like she could have been in the car listening the whole time we had this conversation. She also did past life regressions. And there is this one life that I am trying to get to. It's a specific life. I know that I had it. And I just want to connect and like start connecting the dots so it can give me some closure in this life because this little mystery drives me a little bit crazy. And she said, in order to do that, she needed an object that held my energy. And so I'm like, what am I gonna give her? I'm not gonna give her a piece of jewelry. So I had a pen. So I sat with the pen with intention and I gave it to her. And as soon as I gave it to her, I started to have regrets because I just gave part of my energy away to someone I really didn't know. And it made me very uncomfortable.

I didn't even think of that.

Yeah.

So that was my weirdest experience. But did she go into that past life that you were wanting clarity on, or she just went into others?

SPEAKER_00 19:49

She went into that one. I don't know what to say exactly about the reading. I'm still trying to process it while she was getting information. It wasn't a life that I believe ended happily with just dying in my sleep. It wasn't restful. And whatever she saw, she said she blocked that memory from me. So I didn't have to live that death scene. And I'm like, well, that's not really your choice. Right. Take that away from me if I want to see it. And so I felt just a little uncomfortable. And at that point, I did call back my energy. I asked my guides to help me break connections with any objects I gave and call back all my energy to me for me for my greatest and highest good.

Maybe we should, we'll probably talk about this on another podcast because I just want to like, I want to go in more. I know.

It was fascinating. And we were going down one trail and then she just got stuck on the age of the person. I mean, she was making sense. And I'm like, I think this is who it is. And she's like, no, it was a younger person. And I'm like, well, you just described her perfectly. So I don't know. I I didn't go into it any further because I felt uncomfortable. And then you got your pen back? No, I never got my pen back. I just broke my energy. I asked my guides to help me like wash it clean or energetically cleanse it.

So And did you feel when you went back to the hotel or anything, like, did you feel like she was still around you? I'm just wondering if that in energy from the pen was lingering about anything because she because I had never put that together. I'm you're handing your energy over.

SPEAKER_00 21:30

Yeah, no, I gave it to her at the hotel because she came to our hotel to have the reading, and then she took it, and then the next appointment was over the telephone. And so we had this conversation over the telephone. So I wasn't with her to get the pen physically back. I do know Bonnie did feel like her energy was present where she was at. But yeah.

That's interesting, like lingering around.

Lingering around. Yeah. Bonnie gave a bracelet to her with her energy. And so she just felt afterwards that, well, actually, what happened is she could see the lady's eyes when she closed her eyes in her in Bonnie's physical space. When she closed her eyes, she saw the lady's eyes.

And that's so interesting because I'm thinking, you know, as a therapist and a psychic medium who do sessions, like when I close it, I want to get out of there and go have my own life. So now I'm like, why would she? Yeah, I can't figure that one out.

No, it was a very interesting experience. And again, in this life, we are trying to be teachers, but we're also students. I mean, they balance each other out. As much as we think we know, we're taught we don't know as much as we thought. And, you know, that is just a lesson, a reminder to me. Even if you feel safe in the moment, unless you know the person, don't give your energy away. I I don't think she did anything bad with it or anything. It just made me uncomfortable knowing that I willingly gave my energy to someone. So I just called it back. And I feel like my guides were with me to do that, cut the cord.
