Hello everyone, & welcome to our podcast Whispers from the Mist: Conversations from the Spiritual Byway!

In this deeply personal continuation of Melissa’s story, the conversation moves beyond unexplained experiences and into the emotional weight of living alongside them. What begins as a discussion about paranormal activity in her restaurants unfolds into something far more intimate, touching on grief, intuition, loss, spiritual discernment, and the strange ways life seems to guide us toward unexpected paths. At its heart, this is also a story about transformation. As Melissa faces the difficult decision to leave behind a chapter of her life tied to years of memories, community, and mystery, the conversation turns toward signs, synchronicities, and the possibility that the universe may be quietly leading us exactly where we are meant to go. Thoughtful, emotional, and deeply reflective, this episode invites listeners to sit with the unknown and consider what it means to trust the path unfolding in front of them.

SPEAKER_00

Hey everyone, on this week's episode of Whispers from the Mist Conversations from the Spiritual Byway, we are continuing our conversation with my friend Melissa Lucas. In the last episode, she shared some of the experiences that she's had in her spaces. And in this one, we're going to take a little more time to talk through them. We start to unpack it a bit, like what it's been like for her, and how has she learned to live with it? This one just opens up things a bit more, and we're excited to share everything with you. So get comfortable, take what resonates, and we will continue this conversation along the spiritual byway. Hello everyone, and welcome to another episode of Whispers from the Mist Conversations from the Spiritual Byway. Stacy is here. Hi, Stacy. Hi, Michelle. And as teased, Melissa's back. Hey Melissa, how are you?

SPEAKER_02

Morning.

SPEAKER_00

How are you doing good? Yeah, you unpacked a lot last time. Did that like affect you in any way?

SPEAKER_02

Right up memories that you Yes, because of right now, it's the irony of the turning point of saying right now I'm facing another path.

unknown

Oh.

SPEAKER_02

Another change, big change. And I'm also I also wanted to talk to you guys a little bit about dates. I feel like dates are really important.

SPEAKER_00

They're confirmation. That's what I've always felt with dates. Like you can have these experiences and then look at the date and be like, oh, it's an anniversary of or something has happened on this day that is relevant. And it just makes the experience in my mind more valid. You're just putting more legs to it.

SPEAKER_02

It yes. It seems to me that the birth date and their death date seem to have more. Not I don't really know anything about the first restaurant guy, um, but the second restaurant guy, because I have his memorial, the photo booth memorial that I made, it has a program. And I looked at that one day because we were having a ton of activity. And I looked at it and I was like, oh, he died yesterday, like you know, 16 years ago or whatever yesterday. So then I was like, okay, you know, so I know, and it's March and May. And so, and in between those two days, which is like right now, we have a lot of activity. We just have a lot of things happening, and employees report to me all the time. So, my opening hook, right? So he says out loud, I revoke in the name of Jesus, like really loud. And he's very flamboyant, and this stuff freaks him out. And so I was in the office doing paperwork and I heard him saying, Oh, no, not today, Satan. I revoke in the name of Jesus. And I was I just started laughing. I went out there, I was like, What's going on? He's like, nope, not today. Not even gonna talk about it.

SPEAKER_01

So you you're actually touching on one question that I have, if you don't mind me asking. What's that? Have you had a hard time retaining employees with the activity that you have had happening in either restaurant? Because I know it really does scare some people.

SPEAKER_02

It really does scare some people, but actually, no. My Oregon restaurant has at least 10 employees that have been there since I started to 11 years or more. So most of them, I want to say some of them 15 years. So the retention rate in both of my stores, the other restaurant, the Havasu restaurant I've owned for seven and a half years, and I still have some of the employees that came with it. I mean, I have new ones, but you know, but no, never because of, I've never lost one because of that. I do tell them though, because they report to me, they come to me and tell me, this happened, or you can ask any, any employee that has been there for more than a year, and they'll tell you at least some handful of experiences. And whether they um like that whether they're uncomfortable about it, like my my morning cook who who very loudly speaks to them, or or just you know, just a random bartender that's like in this at closing at night, there's some weird stuff or things move or turn on, or that kind of thing. But never, no one's ever been afraid. And I've told them too that it oh, that's just that's like just the argos. There was one time where there were five employees and we were at the Havasu restaurant. I was standing by the soda machine, and I I was facing, so there were, I was facing three employees, and there was another person standing next to me. So the two of us, because we were facing that direction, because it happened behind the three employees, watched this. We have those huge, huge trays. You put like five or six plates on, you take to the table because it's steakhouse. So one of those huge, huge trays, and they have a big lip on them, so they sit inside of each other, lift it up, shot across the room, hit the wall on the other side, and then it hit the ground. And it did that thing, like ding, ding, ding, ding, like it goes, doo doo doo doo doo. Like it took a minute for it to stop moving. And it was so loud, and all three of those employees whipped around. And the guy standing next to me was a server named Mark, and he got so pale, and he was like, Did you see that? Did you see that? And I I said, Yeah, that's just the ghost. And I continued on with whatever I was talking about. So, like it was normal.

SPEAKER_00

You weren't gonna like make it something big or you need to be worried about this, or you just were like, oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's just our ghost. It happens all and they the he was visibly shaken, like he was really upset. And the other three that were facing me, listening to my story that I where I was talking about, they because it happened behind them, they all looked around, they saw it, the thing, you know, and heard it going on the ground as it was hitting both sides of the tray there, hitting the ground until it stopped. And they had no idea what we had just seen, but it was very, very obvious that there was some force that picked up this massive tray, hit the wall on the other side of the room, and then came to a land on the floor. And also playing frisbee. Yes. I don't know what date that was because I was too new. I didn't make that connection. I didn't I didn't make the connection of the activity increase between April and May or March and May until later.

SPEAKER_00

And that is one of the questions I had was about the activity and when you notice it the most. Is it in the morning or is it at night? Is it in a specific location of the restaurant or more often with males or females or any of that? But you kind of started to answer that when you said dates are relevant.

SPEAKER_02

So that's why I wonder why the previous owner asked me what room did it happen in. And then she then her reaction was like, hmm, when I told her which room, because the room that it happened in, I call it my feng shui room. It's actually my prayer room. Now I have the it's just it's just this beautiful space that but the server area in like where that tray was, and that's the same area where the octopus was, and that's the same area where most many employees have reported things happening. So in the server station, that's the the we call it this the server station. So that's where the servers go and get the food from the kick from the kitchen. There's a big window that the cooks put it up on that shelf. So they're on one side of the shelf, and that's that area where the server station the most often. Yeah, at both stores because that's where they make the coffee. That's where the activity is. Yeah, that's the heartbeat of your restaurant. That's where when you know you, you customers, you're all out front sitting in your booths, you know, drinking your coffee and and enjoying your thing. The kitchen is where the servers are talking to the cooks and oh, I need butter on that, and you gotta put that down for another second, or you forgot the french fries on this, or hey, can you make me some coffee? Like all that stuff is how that's the heartbeat of the restaurant. And in both locations, that's where the most activity is.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so you've had employees seeing that there is something going on at the restaurant. Have you ever had a customer come to you and say, I just had a weird experience in the bathroom, or I was sitting at the bar and I felt a breeze I didn't recognize?

SPEAKER_02

In the bathroom, so it was first, this is at the Lake Havasu location, and it would be the bathrooms on the south end, because there's the building is massive, so there's restrooms on both ends of the building. So it was the restroom on the south end. A woman was washing her hands at the sink, and she told, or she said, that she felt something on the back of her neck, like some whispering or some something, enough that it freaked her out. And she came and reported it to a staff member. And then also I have a server, Missy, who works there now, and and she told me the same thing that she was in that same bathroom, and she had something, she felt something. I'll have to ask her because I don't want to misquote her, but she did tell me something happened to her.

SPEAKER_00

So they're similar experiences not shared between one another and told to you at different times, which adds a lot of validation to that being a location.

SPEAKER_02

And I would say years apart, then the incidences were years apart. Uh, Missy would have had no way of knowing about the previous one. I have not talked to um her about that. It makes them uncomfortable. The servers don't like to, or the employees mostly don't like to talk about it because it makes them uncomfortable. And I just fair I don't bring it up, you know. I really, I really want to make sure that you're, you know, doing everything correctly and rolling your silverware. So I don't I don't I don't talk about it with them unless they bring it up to me. And when they do, you know, I just no thank you for letting me know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I know that as a patron, I've been to your restaurant many times. And it does, it feels like there's something there energetically. And as we've become better friends and you understand that I have like this paranormal interest, you have invited me over to do investigations, to walk through with my equipment. And I swear, the first time I came over, your restaurant was still open, and I'm walking in with like all my equipment. I felt like Ghostbusters or something. I'm sure they were looking, like, what the heck is going on here? But you also know that I have an interest in going to locations that are haunted, seeing what I can find, seeing if I can debunk it at all, which I wasn't able to, but I kind of got to this at the end of the last episode. Have you ever considered advertising it as a haunted space? Because people like that. Not everybody. Some people would take offense to it, I'm sure, but some people would be like, oh, I want to be in the energy. I want to have a tour of this.

SPEAKER_02

You know, I haven't thought about that. It it it to me, it feels wrong to market it.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

That's fair. I guess. And right now, this is another thing that's happening right now. So the and and I'm able to talk about this without tears now. Um, but I had mentioned in the last episode that I'm facing a path in front of me. And just yesterday, a realtor came to take photographs, and I'm selling the Arizona location.

SPEAKER_00

But not because it has activity.

SPEAKER_02

No. So there are three lives that exist right now that wouldn't exist had I not purchased that location. There were three babies born, including my own grandchild, that are here now on this planet because I chose to buy that restaurant. And there are we have helped so many people. We've done a lot of really good things for the community, for the employees. I had a very public lawsuit against the county here. I had an incident happen. I sued the sheriff and the health inspector in a town I own a restaurant in, and they deserved it. And really have caused quite the stir here. I made changes in policy. I changed Lake Havasu, and I know that because of the lawsuit that I sued the county for a public apology and I had everything, what they did to me on video. I released a video. It really went out there and it you can, it's all on Google. If you look up Blonzi's Mojave County lawsuit, you can see it all. But I feel like I it's okay now. I didn't want to sell this. This is not something that I wanted at all. If you would have even asked me three weeks ago if I would be signing papers and a showing, I have a showing today. If I would be showing this um for sale, then I would have not believed it. So the way that this is happening, also, it just my husband came to me and he said it's time. Um, he turned 66 last year. And we had an employee die uh out of the blue at my Salem restaurant who was younger than my husband last year. We had another employee die in December at my Havasu restaurant, who was younger than my husband. And both of those hit him very hard. And he said, This, I'm, I don't want to continue to fly back and forth every week anymore. This is, it's too much. I don't want to check out and leave you with all of this huge restaurant, huge duplets, and another restaurant and the house and the rental house in Salem. Like, you we've we need to start liquidating our assets, and it's time to sell the Arizona restaurant and and begin your exit strategy there. And this was decision was made last week. I called the realtor and it's it happened really super, super fast. And he texted me while I was here this morning and said, I have a showing at one o'clock. And I literally just yesterday. Um I I told my employees, I still have three employees that I have not told yet. I told them all to their faces yesterday and the day before as I handed them their paychecks. You guys, it may take a long time to sell. Please stay with me till the end. However, we are selling this location and I wanted to tell you before you saw it on the internet. Yeah, I did not disclose that it's haunted. It didn't add there to be fair, there was not a checkbox that asked that particular question. But it doesn't cause, I mean, I I always felt I never felt scared or felt that it would cause harm. I just acknowledged that I wasn't alone.

SPEAKER_00

And did you do you think by acknowledging that it was there or giving it a shout out that it remained friendly and was just there?

SPEAKER_02

You just knew it was there, you acknowledged it was there, and that probably the only unfriendly thing I had happened when I called you last week or when the lake when something held my leg down. That was the only time that I've ever had it like touch me. So on our bed, so the mattress that was on the floor, we actually now have Facebook Marketplace and like Havasu, by the way. Oh my gosh, it's amazing. People throw like crazy stuff out here. So we bought this big awesome poster, ridiculous California King bed, and and um put it in this in the room. And my husband and I both have had many, many experiences where it feels like somebody sits down on you. It act like sits down next to you, sorry. Like it, you can see the imprint and it it will move your arm. Like if you're laying there in your arm and you're asleep and you're and you'll feel your arm go down because somebody sits down next to you, but there's no one there. So that the mattress thing, that is, I can't even count how many times that's happened. It's happened so many times. So what day was that? Ten days ago, two weeks ago, something like that when I made it. Yeah, it was right around April Fool's Day. So so I I think I called you or said, Can I come up to you? Yeah, because I it freaked me out. So have you ever had like um like sleep paralysis before? Like where you're watching like you're in that in-between. Okay, so it was one day. And this is when before I made the decision to sell, but my husband was telling me, he's been telling me for months that I had to. I was by myself because I've been coming down by myself. He's pretty much only comes to Tavasi once a month now instead of every week, like I do. And it was in the afternoon, and I fell asleep on my couch. And I looked at the clock and I'm just like, okay, I can sleep because I was really super tired. I was like, I can sleep for like 45 minutes, but then I have to get up. And I felt the it felt like two hands holding down my leg. And I tried to lift up my leg and I couldn't. And it was a familiar feeling, like I knew that it was the same whatever that sits next to me on the bed. The same, I knew that it was. And and I wasn't afraid, but I was irritated. I was like, let my leg go. And it wouldn't let my leg go. And I kept saying, okay, like open your eyes. Like I kept trying to open my eyes, and I couldn't open my eyes because I was in that weird sleep thing. And I kept trying to move my leg and then I yelled at it. I used Jesus. I started saying, I'm gonna let go of me, or I'm gonna start saying Jesus, Jesus help me, Jesus Christ, you know. So I started saying Jesus' name and it let go. And then I started talking to it and I just said, Oh my gosh, like if you let go because of Jesus, does that mean that you're not good? Because I only want good here. Like, if you're not good, then you need to bounce because I thought that we were cool and you were good, but if you're letting go when I say that, then we then we got some issues.

SPEAKER_00

And it could be, it's not necessarily that it was evil. It could have just been that it recognized in that moment how much it was scaring you to the point where you felt like you had to protect yourself, and that's why I let go. I mean, that could be. I would rather think that than it be something.

SPEAKER_02

So this is all a dream here. So then after it lets go, I get up in my dream and I walk out the side and I walk around the front of the house, and I hear something, some some noise in the duplex on the other side, and I've been getting the duplex ready to Airbnb, ready for showings. I walk around and the duplex door is open, and there's three men standing inside, and one of them is putting tape on the ground. And I start yelling at them, what are you doing in here? How did you get in here? And they were like, Calm down. We're just putting tape on the floor. And I was like, get out of my house. And I just started yelling at them. And then they, in this is also very strange in my dream. They go, they leave, they go across the wash, which is weird, and they have a truck on the other side of the wash, and they're just standing there staring at me and I'm screaming at them, how the F did you get in my house? Because I was really freaked out that they were inside the duplex. And then I shut the duplex door, I walked over to the restaurant, I walked up to, we have this big red door, this back door where you go in, and I went to open it, and that's when I woke up. And I looked at the clock and like 20 minutes had passed. And I I was so weirded out by that whole thing because it just seemed so real. And I called Michelle, you know, and I was like, I really just need to talk to you because this is the first time that it's actually touched me. It sat down next to me 10,000 times, but it's never actually touched me before. And it was, and I was communicating with it in my dream, which was also new. And I still don't really know who or what it is, which is also kind of unnerving. And when I went to sleep that day, I was not looking for this or seeking this out. It just it just was. And I told and I called my husband too and told him about that dream and how strange it was. And and he he was a non-believer until the orbs. And then after the orbs, he 100% believes all of it because he's he's had the bed, the mattress fall sit down next to him. He was there when the plant thing went flying. He saw the video of the octopus, he knows about the tray, he saw the video of the tray because he can rewind. That's the that's why I always ask what time was it? Because we have prevalence, we can just rewind it and then watch.

SPEAKER_01

It's hard to continue to deny things that you're essentially experiencing yourself, no logical explanation. Right.

SPEAKER_02

And there's been a lot of of death lately, which has been really hard too. My mom passed away, and my husband's father passed away both in the same summer of 2024. And my ex-husband, the father of my children, was really, really brutally murdered on our wedding anniversary, which will be two years this May 15th. So my kids lost their dad, and I'm still fighting with the powers that be for justice for that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, and that was somebody that you know I share children with that I was close to at one time in my life. So yeah, recently there's been a lot of death. And then our bartender, Dave. Um, Dave just passed in December, and he was one that you didn't think would that was gonna happen to you, 'cause he was young, he's in his fifties, and he worked on Wednesday and he died on Thursday.

SPEAKER_00

Like rewind though, to when you were talking about being touched. First I wanna say that would be Stacy's worst nightmare.

SPEAKER_01

It yes, yes, that's my that's

SPEAKER_02

I feel like that's a line that it crossed. And that was new. It's it hadn't done that before.

SPEAKER_00

So that was the first thing I wanted to touch on. And the second thing you said before all these experiences started happening, your husband didn't believe in any of this. How about you? As a child growing up, did you believe in the paranormal or spirits, aliens, any of that?

SPEAKER_02

I have always been extremely spiritual but not religious. I've always seeked out to find the greater good. I believe in good versus evil and universal consciousness. I believe that there's a lot more to this life. When I attended my grandmother's funeral, I was a child. And to this day, I can still see my grandpa standing next to her in the doorway of that service. Like I clearly saw them. I knew that I was seeing their spirits. I recognized them. I could they looked like they did when they were alive, but you could see through them. And it was at the at the actual service of my grandmother's funeral. My grandfather had died years before her. And my grandfather was like my favorite person in the whole world. And I hadn't seen him since he died until her funeral. And they both attended her funeral. And I I had never, I've never even told my sister that.

SPEAKER_00

That was gonna be my next question. Well, I had two of them. Were you afraid when you saw it? And then the next question is did you talk about it with your family and did you find support? No.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't talk about it with anyone. I stared at them until my eyes, I did it was I was afraid to blink because if I blinked, then they wouldn't be there. And I remember just sitting there staring and staring and staring at that doorway, being scared to blink. And something touched me or something, and I turned around and I looked at them. And and then when I looked back, it was gone. And I was really sad that they were gone. But we were also, I was a little, I was eight, nine, I was little, and you were sitting in a church-like setting. So I was supposed to be quiet. This was my grandma's funeral, so I didn't say anything. I never told anyone. But I've always been sensitive to that. And also other things like there was this motion, I still call it a motion light. We have a light by the red door in the back of the Havasu restaurant, and every time I would walk up, this light would come on. And I'm talking like four years past, and I said something to my husband about, hey, what's up with that motion light? It didn't come on yesterday. And he was like, What motion light? And I was like, the motion light out back, and he's like, We don't have a motion light. And I went out back and I showed up and I was like, That light. And he goes, That's not a motion light. That's like a security light, and it always stays on. And I was like, No, it doesn't, it turns on when I walk up. And he was like that's interesting. And so then the next day, I was walking up the ramp and the light turned on and I showed him, I'm like, see? It's a motion light. And he was just what the like he was blown away. He's because he's a builder also, and he wires stuff in, and that light was it's on a timer and it's not supposed to. I didn't know it was a timer light, but it's not supposed to come on until a specific time and it turns off at a specific time. But that is really cool though. It was weird. It was weird. Yeah. So I definitely feel like I I have an energy, maybe. People tell me a lot that I have a presence. If I walk in the room, they'll say, I've heard I don't even know countless times people have told me that.

SPEAKER_00

And Stacy can probably say this better than I can, but there is this beacon of light that you become when you are open to experiences. And it feels like you're drawing this in too unbeknownst. You're not trying to. It's they're attracted to your light.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. You you become kind of like a lighthouse. I love beacon. Beacon is a great word for it, but you become the this this light in the dark for spirits that are seeking some sort of understanding or need to move on or just want to have, you know, notice. And, you know, it's it's a beautiful, I I I look at it as a gift, but I also like it's it's about practicing protection, you know, at some point in time, you know, you you learn how to protect your energy so you're not constantly being bombarded by spirits, but it's a beautiful, you know, thing when you're open to it.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I have a question for you guys. Why did my daughter get sick when she was saying that though that's not real and running her hands through it and telling, why did that happen?

SPEAKER_00

There are so many things coming to mind. The first thing that's popping up is we're not sure where that energy came from. So as much as we'd like it to be like spiritual something, it could have been interdimensional, it could have been extraterrestrial, and their genetic makeup is just different than ours. It's okay to be present in it, although it was reaching out to you guys, changing your mood. But when you actually touched it, there was something about it that didn't sit well with the chemistry of a human body. That's what came to mind first for me.

SPEAKER_01

My gut goes to whatever the entity was, was angry that she was questioning that it was there. Now, I don't want to say was punishing her, but it it wanted her to know, no, this is real. It was kind of a lesson.

SPEAKER_00

The entity was not happy. Teaching her a lesson. Just kind of like, hey, I'm here. This is real. And that's a lesson she's gonna remember more than just like touching on, no, like, yeah, something's here, my hand's going through it, but she could take something went away with her where she's not gonna forget it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And you know what? That's true. She still to this day remembers that and realizes that it was that action that made her instantly ill.

SPEAKER_01

It's a feeling that you will never forget. I hate to say a beacon, but it's blunt. It's a blunt way of communicating. Like, hey, we're here. Don't question it. You're going to remember the bad experience more than you remember the good, unfortunately.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. But that was brave of her. I don't know that I would have gone and been put. Well, maybe I would have, just out of curiosity. Like, is it going away now?

SPEAKER_02

She thought she told us, well, it's the blinds. She moved the blinds. She she opened the blinds and closed them. She moved everything around. She said, Oh, it's a spider or something. She she tried to make up any excuse that we were, that Mark and I both were acting crazy. She literally said, We, you guys are crazy.

SPEAKER_01

And but that's normal human behavior, too, because we want to disprove things that we don't understand.

SPEAKER_02

Right. And we were showing her, look at the orbs right there. Because you could, you know, I mean, it to me, it was very interesting to me. We had owned that restaurant for years at that point, and we had never seen the orbs, and we haven't seen them since. They just came that one time to make me buy like. So, I mean, like the whole and then the way the whole thing happened. But then all these other scenes. So, this is another reason why, why I know it's my time to now to check out. Because after our cook died and all these other things start started happening. Remember how I told you I made the deal with the airlines because so we could fly back and forth? The airline went bankrupt. So that was Spirit Airlines. I had buy, I was flying from Portland to Las Vegas for $23 every week for seven years, non-stop. I had it, it was dialed in. It was it was like a taxi cab in the sky for me for 23 bucks.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02

Right? Like I that's what I mean. Like if I told you the way all of this happened, you wouldn't even believe me. If it didn't happen to me myself, I wouldn't believe it. So, you know, all these things just kept happening. This the spirit airlines goes down, you know, my my bartender dies, like just one one thing after another, one after another started happening. And where the pros started, not the pros and the cons list, you know, it started Havasu started becoming more cons than the pro. Right. And then when my husband said, you know, enough's enough, it's you it's gotta go.

SPEAKER_00

And I'm thinking of the, I don't know, the the buildup to buying the restaurant, deciding to come to Havasu, the building of the dream, everything was lining up. Like, but here's Pegs and puzzle. Here's the rest of it though.

SPEAKER_02

The the rest of it, the long game is they because of the lawsuit, because of what happened in Lake Havasu, that's how I got the radio show in Lake Havasu, which I do live every Tuesday morning. And that's it's political where you bring in people from the left and from the right. And I'm in the center and I try to find common ground. Common ground is the name of the show. Well, my Oregon restaurant had the radio station there, came in twice, and they gave me my own show in Salem. And so Monday I'm I have the mayor on the show. So I'm getting very, very politically involved, and I'm getting a lot of pressure to run for office in Salem, in Oregon. So if I had not gone through all of this in Lake Havasu and sued the sheriff and the health inspector and created all this change and got my own show in Salem, I would not be headed towards that path, which is the path that is being laid out in front of me right now. Yeah. Is to sell the restaurants and run for office. That's where I feel like I needed to go.

SPEAKER_01

I love the way that you've laid down the both paths that you have kind of walked in because it's it's a direct demonstration to me of how when you go with the flow of the universe, it it's easy. It just it's like, oh, all of the all of the speed bumps, all of the difficulties, all of the challenges that we go through kind of go away. And it's just it's easy. And and you're like, but but but wait, you know, because we spend so much time trying to force what we want, but you are this beautiful demonstration of the universe going, here, here you go.

SPEAKER_02

I asked, send me angels is what I asked for. Send me angels. I because I really want just the good ones. I don't want the bad ones. Um, but send me angels and show me the right path. Like what I don't know what to do. And and it just and now it's falling, it's happening so quickly. I signed the papers just yesterday and somebody's looking at it today. That that is shocking to me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, and it's a little shocking to me because the next two episodes we are going to record. One is on spiritual discernment, which we talked about here, and another one is on angels. So you're kind of like bringing up what we're gonna talk about next. And again, as Stacy said, I will just build on that a little bit. The path to Havasu was smooth, you know, everything was smoothed out. Your exit out of Habasu's been a little bit bumpy, but it almost feels like your guide's trying to get you to that path and leading you there in your own time. We talked about that in the the last episode that when you try and go against your intuition or what you're supposed to do to stay on path, the universal sin like gentle nudges, but then they get stronger and stronger just to make sure you do the forward momentum. So I imagine from this point it's gonna like smooth out a little bit again.

SPEAKER_02

It's gonna be very weird. It's gonna be so strange for me because this has been my life for so long now. And the thought of of the my biggest, my hardest part is the employees, because I've got like 30 employees at each location, and telling them was rough. I bet telling them was rough. But I did tell them if to that it could take a while. And it took two and a half years before I came along, before I bought it.

SPEAKER_00

So just stay open to the possibility of and that's what I said.

SPEAKER_02

You know, we're gonna keep open, we're gonna keep selling sell as much food as we can. We want to sell an open restaurant, not a closed one. So please stay. Don't get scared, don't take off. We and if if this all goes through, you know, like um we're hoping it does, we'll give each of you a cash bonus on our last day. And all of them so far, there's three I haven't told yet, but the rest of them have all said we're here till the end. And thank you for telling me, you know, being so straightforward.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. You're setting like the expectations there, the boundaries, the guidelines. So that's really good. People need those. At least I need something like that because I am one who is a rule follower and I like to know what the plan is. And that sounds like you have one to the best of your ability right now. Right.

SPEAKER_02

And it's not something I want to do. No, I understand. I couldn't talk about even selling the restaurant without crying for about months, months, and months. It's it took me a long time to wrap my head around it and just, okay, this is what I have to do. And then, and the realtor also has been kind of great. I was afraid of realtors. I didn't want to deal with any of it. Yeah. And uh and I've never sold anything ever. My husband's always done for sale by owner. So I've never used a realtor other than to purchase things. So it was, it's been a different experience for me. Like they've been really great. So hopefully it's like tearing off a band-aid.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. Well, on this journey, you know, keep asking the universe for help. Angels will come in if you ask for their help. So keep doing that. Keep protecting your energy because I have a feeling that when you leave this restaurant, you're still gonna have these experiences that you've had. I would recommend if you don't want the energy from the restaurant following you, just cut ties in some way, do a cut core cutting something. Stacey might have some advice there and leave that energy here and have a sue. So it doesn't follow you home.

SPEAKER_01

I honestly, when you leave and you're ready to leave that energy behind, just tell it it don't want it to come with you. Like you just bluntly say, I don't want you to come with me. You belong here. And that should most likely, because it's it doesn't seem like a a negative entity, it it'll stay. It'll stay where it belongs. Because usually the entities are connected to some thing or some space, not necessarily a person. So and what did he say?

SPEAKER_02

If I if I can't take it with me, I'm not going. So and it's screwed to the bar wall.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think he's gonna stay there anyway. So you know, say goodbye. So thank you. Yeah, um, move on. So, well, thank you so much for being here. Yes, thank you. Thanks for having me talking with you.

SPEAKER_02

It's a wild story.

SPEAKER_00

And I know I want to get back in there with my equipment. And I would love if you would be willing to share some of your videos, but if you look here on this piece of paper, I do have the email address where you can submit them to Paranormal on camera. So you should do that too. Like, I don't want to, I mean, we're a small podcast, but that's a big show.

SPEAKER_02

Well, why don't you do it for me? And then we can do it, give them to them together.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not against that. Okay. It'll seem more legit coming from you guys.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Well, I will go ahead and share it with Stacy first, and then we'll put it out on social media and we'll send it in. Okay. Love it. Yeah. Great. Thank you again for being here. Thanks for your energy, your friendship. Thank you. It's nice to meet you. You too. Well, do you want to close out this episode, Stacy? Absolutely. Stay curious. Trust what you know. And we will meet you along the spiritual byway. Thank you, everyone. Thank you, Melissa. Thank you. Bye. Right now. We're here for you, and we're all in us together.
