On this week's episode, we're going to be talking about how to balance the spiritual and human shit. Hello everyone, and welcome to the Three Cups and Dash of Spirituality podcast. Today we're going to be talking about balancing the spiritual and the human shit, the messy stuff, right? All that fun stuff we love to do. I am Carissa and we've got Michelle and Stacy. Hello, hello, ladies.
SPEAKER_00I was going to say hello, hello, because you did the intro this week and I'm like, oh, no one's going to hear it. So I will say it. But yeah, you beat me to it. Hi, everyone.
SPEAKER_01Hi, everyone.
SPEAKER_02You guys are weirdos. I know. Well, you know what? Everybody's weird. You might as well just lean into it and have fun. That's what I say, right? Absolutely. Exactly. Well, cool. What do y'all want to start off with in regards to balancing the spiritual and human shit? Anyone want to start off? Like, what is I'll, I mean, I know how I balance it, but I don't know if y'all want me to start off or y'all. If y'all see, because Michelle's the one who's organized and she's the one who gets everything done. Stacy and I are pretty much off the cuff. That's just how we like to roll. So 100% off the cuff. That's just 100%.
SPEAKER_00You never give yourself enough credit. No, I okay. I'm just gonna say before we start this topic, I'm a little thrown off because now we're doing this video component. And I swear with Zoom, I don't know where to look. I don't get this shit. So this is very human. This is very human right now.
SPEAKER_01You look at the camera above, above, like your can't you look at your camera if you want to make contact, you know, googly eyes with the people that are watching.
SPEAKER_00Um I don't just look at myself, I you can like criticize. Oh my gosh, my hair. You can. I washed my hair for you guys. You did.
SPEAKER_01Well, I washed my hair too. I keep leaning back because I want to make sure everybody knows that I'm wearing clothes today because I know if I'm like if I sit up straight, I look completely naked.
SPEAKER_00You do, you do, I know, but we didn't see it till you brought it to our attention. You're welcome. I know.
SPEAKER_02Stacy's always gonna add a flair of sexuality, yeah. Well, we like it, we like ya. So, how do I balance the human in shit and spiritual side of my life? I have boundaries, I don't won't go all day long going spirit guides, what kind of clothes should I wear? This and that, you know? And actually, this summer I said I'm taking a break. We talked about off the podcast. We I talked about this. I said I'm not crossing anyone over. I need a break for my mental health, I don't want any crossing connection sessions. And I didn't have any this summer. Not one. And when I traveled out of town, there was a lady that woke up my daughter, and I and I, because my daughter started speaking out loud in her sleep, and I energetically went down and I said, worked with my guides. I said, here's the door if you want to cross, but or here's the front door to the hotel. You get to choose which one you want to go through. I'm going back to bed, but you're not allowed in. So that's my kind of thing of balancing this summer is like I'm taking a break, but day-to-day thing, what do y'all do?
SPEAKER_00One of the things that we learned early on, it's important to have balance between the two. And I find myself going back to that a lot, going back to that lesson that we learned because sometimes I get really, really human. And the part about that that's so hard is when I'm so humanly connected spiritually, I'm getting nothing. And then I start to doubt the connection. Like it completely cuts me off. But I think my guides, you know, boundaries or lessons they're teaching me, they're figuring out how to balance it too. And so sometimes they give me a break when I'm really in my human world. And sometimes then they nudge me back, even when I'm not ready to go back into the spiritual world as deeply. There's a lesson to be learned. And hey, well, I can't even talk. I'm here for it. We love Michelle, she's spunky, something like that. I'm weird, I'm quirky. Someone said that once, and I'm like, yep, I'll take that. I like quirky.
SPEAKER_01Stacey, what about you? It's a lot, I think, different for me because the spiritual end of the realm has been such a like significant part of my like day-to-day life that like I'm sitting here going, how do I balance it? And it's kind of like, you know, sometimes I feel like when I sit in my office space, I feel like I'm just an energetic door, a constant, like, like it doesn't matter what I'm doing, but I'm this energetic door for spirits to cross over. But I am not actually doing anything. So I'm able to focus on the human. It's almost like like energetically I'm being used like a tool, but it's not impacting, you know, my ability to accomplish the things that I that I need to do. Now, with that said, you know, recently you guys are aware that I had surgery at the end of July. I had not a lot of different, I had I didn't have very many readings, I didn't have a lot of things really coming through that needed my attention, but I was still doing, I was still doing my life coaching, which I do, you know, with with my clients regularly. And life coaching is really intuitive. So because it's really intuitive, like that separation of human and spiritual can be very challenging because I'm still dipping into it, even whenever I'm taking a break from doing the the things, you know, I'm not doing readings, but I'm doing the work in a different capacity. But I also, you know, well throughout the recently I I figured out that even like my full-time job where it's very cut and dry, I'm using intuition in that capacity too. And so it's like I just I feel like it's such an ingrained part in me that sometimes balance isn't really a thing because it's just it is. But then, you know, when the human aspects and things come up and bite me in the ass, like I kind of slow down a little bit and have to just focus on the okay, these things need to be dealt with. And I can't use my intuition to pay, you know, rent or whatever, if that makes any sense.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It makes complete sense. And I will say that it's a constant ebb and flow there because you know, you're not always gonna be 50-50. Sometimes life requires you to be 90-10 or 90-10 the other way. It just really depends on what is going on. And I find it so interesting because this podcast is so much fun, and you're really getting to see who we are. We are spiritual and we are little woo-woo, but yeah, we're human and you're gonna hear that coming out in the way we talk and the words that we use. Like I've thought many times my parents are gonna watch, or I guess it was listen up until this episode to that, to what we've said previously, and their their jaws might drop, or that's what I envision anyway, because like we don't hold back with our words, so we're very human in the way we talk and interact, but you know, we have this other side too, and it's just like recognizing that in ourselves and not being so shocked by it. Like, does it ever shock you? Because people are like, you're spiritual, so you should be this way, but yet we're human and we're like all of it.
SPEAKER_02Oh my gosh, as a therapist, people think I should be have no triggers, have no reactions. It's like I'm human. Are you kidding me?
SPEAKER_01Don't get angry, you're supposed to be spiritual. Don't you you can't show emotions, you're supposed to be a hundred percent balance right, right now.
SPEAKER_02We don't harm anyone, none of us, but we're human and we uh can be reactive and triggered. The balance for the spirit stuff, too, is like, yeah, I'm using my intuition, but in regards to the crossing over work, I need a break.
SPEAKER_01Well, it's constant, it's because it's constant. So the crossing over stuff can be very, very heavy sometimes. And you know, that's where I kind of like that I like energetically have become like that that door, like that constant moving energy, because I don't have to step into it that often, you know, I don't need to focus on clearing because they're just, you know, kind of clearing themselves in a way, which is kind of a weird thing to say. But if I was constantly needing to stop in the middle of the day and be like, okay, you know, this brogue walks in and is like, I just need, I don't, I don't know what I'm doing here, it would be very different, you know, it would feel very different.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's what I and that's what I deal with. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I did find it very interesting too. We've talked about, you know, being human, having our triggers and reacting as humans to things. I've also beat myself up a whole lot because while I am spiritual and for the greatest and highest good of all, I'm also human and I like to shop. I like to, you know, have nice things around me, drink nice wine. And for me, that's an internal battle.
SPEAKER_02Is it the religion component you think growing up that you know how if you're if you're spiritual, you you shouldn't be greedy and gluttonous? You know how we're taught all that stuff. Don't be gluttonous, don't be greedy. Is greedy another word in the Bible, or is it greed? Because gluttony is like overeat and over drink, you know, like take in all the stuff.
SPEAKER_01Is greed just greed? I think so. I I I mean it's been a minute since I was. But y'all know what I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_00Do you think, Michelle, that's where it comes from? I don't know. It just seems more pronounced now as I'm walking this path because it feels very selfish to me to be human sometimes, I guess is what I'm getting at.
SPEAKER_01But we're here for the human experience.
SPEAKER_00That is true. And you lean into your mic, so I leaned to the bye-bye.
SPEAKER_01I did that on purpose. So, and I I respect that because I love I love clothes as well. I I I love, you know, I love doing things like that. But I think one of the things that we tend to neglect when we start talking about, I like to shop, I like to do all of these things, is we forget that we are here for a human experience, regardless of what that experience looks like. That's our purpose on this earth is to experience the things that we choose before we, you know, step into these meat suits. We choose to experience what what big things we want to experience. If that means that we are, you know, the richest people in the world, that's exactly what we chose to experience. If that means that we don't have two nickels to rub together, that is what we choose to experience. And this is a really hard thing, a really hard concept, I think, for a lot of people to kind of wrap their heads around because why would we choose to come down and experience illness? Why would we choose to come down and experience pain? Why would we choose to come down and experience all like the different emotions that we go through? And the reality is, is it's because we don't understand when we aren't in these meat suits. We don't understand what those experiences actually entail. So we go, okay, that person went through this illness and I'm curious about it. So my next, you know, life on earth, I am going to choose to live that experience and experience this illness.
SPEAKER_02And what I think I remember talking to a friend, I was like, man, if I win the lottery, I would love to win the lottery. And if I could win the lottery, I would set up a nonprofit where all the homeless people would get therapy, medication, drug intervention, all this stuff, right? And then one of my friends, she was like, That's socialism. I was like, Well, I don't know, but she but I'm like, that's what I do. And then I thought about and I was like, oh, but then that wouldn't be fair. That really wouldn't work because you're taking them out of the experience.
SPEAKER_01And it might be part of their experience to be homeless, but you stepping in and helping them could also be part of their experience, too, true.
SPEAKER_02Well, if I win the lotto, I'd do it. But you know, my husband says, good luck with that and stop spending the money on the lottery.
SPEAKER_00I was also thinking, like when we were talking about the human versus spirit, not versus or not like one against the other, like David and Goliath or something. It's just kind of bringing them together so you have a balanced experience. Would you say that like the spiritual, like the spiritual experience is so big and open, but the human experience, do you really, I'm trying to think of the right word, look at that as the ego experience, you know, keeping it small, keeping you in line. Do you think human and ego go together and spiritual and spiritual go together? I don't know how better to put that.
SPEAKER_01They are. I agree, Chris. I think they're really intertwined, but I also think it depends on on how you're looking at ego and human and spirituality and you know, you know, whatever you're putting that up against, because I think spirituality is a human aspect of life too. And I think ego comes in when we think we're better than everybody else, and we think, you know, we are the only people that do these things, and we are the only people that you should trust to do these things. And I mean, the reality is we all have experiences and our experiences are so different that as long as we can accept where other people are on their path, we can release the ego and that that that from the human and say, you know what, I'm good at this, but I'm probably I might not be the best, and that's okay.
SPEAKER_00Um I wasn't speaking to ego as being like grandiose part, like I'm better than other people, was more that part that keeps us in check when we go to try to do something. It's the ego saying, uh no, like you've never done that before, you're pushing your comfort zone.
SPEAKER_02What I like about the ego, and this is what I tell my clients, is that okay, here's an example. We humans, if we're having this is very, very typical. I mean, we're typically nicer to strangers than we are to ourselves, too. And we have to learn how to be really loving to ourselves. We're talking about, well, let's take, you know, our regular people, not the grandiose people. Our ego, here's an example. So everything's going well in our life. I mean, everything's amazing. What does the ego do? The ego tries to protect us and look, tries to look five miles down the road and say, Well, this could happen, this could happen. We know that the shit is going to eventually hit the fan, which is true. That's life. So I look at the ego too. Yes, absolutely what Stacey was saying, too. That is part of the ego, but also the ego protects us. Like, so be friends with it because we need the ego to be human. So when the ego comes in and tries to make us suffer, the intention really is to prepare us.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. And you just said something about how we quickly step into forgiveness or grace to other people. And part of my balancing of everything is accepting the fact that I can give myself that grace too. I'm not perfect, I'm here to have an experience. I'm a soul having a human experience, and I'm here for a reason. Like we've talked about, I make mistakes. And part of my lesson, and that's coming with the spirituality, is to give myself and my myself grace in those moments where I've really fucked up when I've really messed up because I give it to other people. So why wouldn't I give it to myself? And that is a lesson I like walk every single day, including this very day.
SPEAKER_02Yep. I agree.
SPEAKER_01Well, and I I think one of the biggest other pieces of that is as you know, looking at that human and that spiritual balance is sometimes something happens spiritualistically. I don't even know if that's a word that we've done on this podcast. I like it. I know I like it. So something happens spiritualistically that we have to then put into our human realm, our human world, and understand it from a human perspective. Now, with that said, you know, there's information I know for me that comes through that I will share with very select few people because it can be really harsh information that it's like my guides are like, just so you're aware, this is coming down the pike, and it's like, oh shit. Okay, thanks for that. And then, you know, you basically hold on your breath for the ride. But I'm not gonna walk into uh a reading with somebody and divulge information that is going to harm their human life. So a great example of this is illness, is you know, potentially seeing somebody's demise in their life, is seeing loss, significant loss. You know, we don't, I would never step into a reading and say, oh, hey, I I see death coming up the pike. Like, who does that? Number one. Number two, that is so fear and human-based that you've got to balance that information. Like I talk about it in a different, different aspect. Like I'm seeing like there are some things that are gonna come up that are gonna be really challenging for you. But I'm not, you know, I don't want to scare the person sitting in front of me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And I like how if there's if you get too many, if you get psychics telling you all this gloom and doom, run, but it's also like your spirit guides, it feels like telling you this information of let's be a little bit more gentle with them. Or when you get energetically in the room with them on the phone, zoom, whatever you do, all if we all do hybrid, then you feel it out and say, Is this a yeah?
SPEAKER_00And I forgot what I was gonna say, so we can keep moving on instead of looking like Michelle. Now what we was like, you were so I forgot.
SPEAKER_01I know we all looked at Michelle, like what I there have been readings that I've stepped in and that information has come true, come through. And after the reading, because my guide said, Don't don't tell that, like, this is not pertinent for them to know. I was like, then why'd you tell me? And they were like, So you get the full picture, so you're able to support the way you need to support, and you can see the full, like everything that's happening. And I was like, Okay, cool, because I know with the knowledge of the information that was provided, I was able to give you know a balanced reading that was absolutely necessary, you know, for that person. But I will never like I my goal in in most of my readings is to make sure the person leaves feeling better. I don't want the doom and gloom. Like it happens, shit comes up in readings, like it does. That's reality. But you know, for the most part, it's more about talking about how to move forward through through that shit.
SPEAKER_00Right. Because if you give that information out, it could change their human experience and how they live their lives and who they are. I mean, like you go into a reading and they're like, Well, I see this in two years, you're gonna live your life differently for the next two years.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because I need another information. And another piece of that is like the whole death, death idea, telling somebody that that you see their demise. Either they're gonna fight tooth and nail against it or be incredibly fearful for the the time that remains, or they're gonna be holding their breath waiting for it. And by holding their breath, waiting for it, they can actually bring things closer to them. And I and I can't think of the term, but it's um self-fulfilling prophecy. That's what it is. It's a self, it can be a self-fulfilling prophecy. So you have to be very, very, very careful whenever you're balancing that human and that spiritual, just because you get the information doesn't mean it's going to help them in the long run.
SPEAKER_00Back to what Chris has said. I remembered what I was gonna say is readings get a bad name because people get fearful of them. And honestly, we can't tell the future because what you do day to day, like on that trajectory, this is where you're going, but it doesn't mean it's gonna play out that way. If you change something, like let's say you go back to school, where you were headed is gonna be somewhere different than where you were. So I really don't even like to, you know, read into the future. I just kind of read what the guides are telling me right now, what you need to know to make yourself the best person you can be.
SPEAKER_01And I I love your example of going back to school too, because it can be even like smaller than that. You can step on the wrong ant and everything is is shifting. And you know, that's the the interesting thing. Like when I read, I'm reading the energy now, which means what I'm seeing about the future is where where things sit now. And sometimes my guides are like, well, if you do this, this, this, and this, it's gonna keep you on this trajectory, but not always. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And I that's why I love and connect with both of you because we are here to empower our clients. As long as we have a consciousness, we have intuition. We don't have all the answers. We were gonna give you what we have, and then we're gonna help you open up your intuition. And that's why I love working with the two of y'all because you're both the same way. You want to empower people, right? Whether there's a lot of psychics that just say, I have the gift, and I lord all this information over you, and I take your money. And it's like, no, no, no, no, no, no. You can give us information, but then you can also help us ask us the questions and help us do exercises to open up that guidance.
SPEAKER_00And I recently had an experience where I was talking to another psychic medium, and she was not getting my approach to things because I want to, as you said, I want to empower you. I want you to remember who you are at the core and all that beauty that goes with it. Because everyone has magic inside, it's just remembering it. And she wanted to argue with me about it. And I'm like, but I don't do those types of readings, and it was a very difficult conversation, and I felt like an idiot afterwards, and it was a trigger. We have them, it's human.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, well, she should have felt more like the idiot because it's are you she already gave away what her way of working and her paradigm of thinking is. And that is psychics are special and they're a gift and they have all the information. It's not true.
SPEAKER_00Right, and I'm and I did say I'm not gonna predict future. I don't like to predict future because it's more about the here and now and how to empower you now so you can live a, you know, a more balanced or not better life, just a more authentic life, I would say.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like as a right go ahead. Oh, I was just gonna say, I wouldn't say that I predict the future per se, but I tell you where you're going if you continue in the trajectory that you're. Going. Like, I'm like right now, the like energetically, this is where you are and this is where you're walking. But I don't like say, you know, in five years down the road, you're gonna meet this human and it's gonna change your life, or you're gonna hit the lottery, or you know, those lottery numbers, because that's just it, it's it's it's not part of the human experience.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, you're gonna be married with two kids, one boy, one girl, and a dog named Robert.
SPEAKER_02We all have free will. Here's another thing, too, as well is that from personal experience I've seen, some people can, you know, our soul. Sorry to be so choppy, guys. With my I have to like stop and go back to my sentence. Some my belief is that we know we come down here for a certain time, and we we know when our ex unconsciously know when our expiration date, and but we still have free will and we can push the and fight that expiration date. And I've seen that to where it's just it's it's really like everything is crumbling and falling down, and it's push, push, push, push. And I was going somewhere with that.
SPEAKER_01I can I can add in while you're thinking if you want because I love this. So we come down knowing an expiration date, but we also have a rough trajectory of what we're gonna do. So if you think about the timeline like this, we have little points that we want to meet here, here, here. Not like I am going to have two children or things like that, but I want to help people. So there's there are millions of jobs that you can get that allow you to help people. There are a million of different things you can do that allow you to help people. So as long as you're not, you know, getting on your life path and you don't become a murderer that's not helping anybody, you're actually fulfilling the goals that you're setting when you come down. We have those little points of things that we want to hit.
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_00And I'll just can I jump in real quick, or do you have your thought?
SPEAKER_02My point was exactly Stacey just took it home, is that we have free will.
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_02That we even though we're on our path, we we have free will regardless. Do you want to struggle? Do you want to stay on your path? Your path may look different than other paths, but it's still like what Stacy said, you're helping people.
SPEAKER_00Right. And I'm just so excited because this actually ties back into a past episode, the FES, the force energetic shifts, shifts. And that's what you're talking about. We have these points that we have to meet. We've they're agreed upon points. And when we start to stray where we're not going to hit them, that's when those come into play and push you back on track so you can hit your goals.
SPEAKER_01Well, and and I'll also throw out there those FESs, those force energetic shits, as it were, happen when we're not taking care of ourselves too. It may not be fully life path, may not be fully life path path focused, but I know I am one, I'm a go, go, go person. And actually, I'll share with you guys. I stopped in and I saw my tattoo artist the other day, and I hadn't seen him since prior to having surgery. And he goes, Did you take any time off work? And I said, No, I said, Well, two days, I took time off of my full-time job, but I only took two days off from my business. And he just looked at me, shook his head, and started laughing. And he was like, Of course not. And that this is the thing, is like, I know what I can handle. I was actually, I was talking fast because I want you to be aware that I did take care of myself. I did slow down a little bit. I wasn't doing like back to back-to-back meetings like I tend to do, but I was only doing, but I was still working because you know there are things that need to be accomplished. But the whole purpose, like for me, my guides make me sick because they don't, I don't slow down otherwise and they know it. So I hit a wall of like exhaustion and I should be better. I should be better about slowing down a little bit more. I get into a point where I'm okay with it, but then I'm not. And I finally actually, so I had a reading for myself a couple of weeks ago. Carissa, you're you're not aware of this. And one of the things that I learned about me is I work best in on like being imbalanced. Like I'm perfectly imbalanced in in all areas, which is why I'm such a go, go, go person, because it makes me feel more accomplished to be able to bounce from one thing to another rather than having all my ducks lined up and it kind of working out perfectly. So the imbalance is part of just kind of my innate nature, and understanding that allows me to go, this is why chaos serves me well.
SPEAKER_02And can I share something personal about you and me? Yeah. We both have ADHD, and ADHD works differently with every human being. Stacy thrives on that. Whereas for me, I have to have a plan, I have to have structure. Again, then my AD ADHD goes, forget this. I need to just not have that. But that's part of how you operate, and we have to work with our brains versus against them.
SPEAKER_01And and I demonstrate that regularly with my ADHD because if I'm writing a paper, if I'm doing a reading, if I'm preparing for anything, like I am not sitting still. Sitting still is really hard for me. Like it's interesting because we're doing this podcast and we're recording it. So everybody's like, You've been sitting, you know, this entire time.
SPEAKER_02No, you're moving a little bit, so am I.
SPEAKER_01I'm moving a lot.
SPEAKER_00Like, you don't see why I have a moment here because I, you know, my Fitbit just buzzed, letting me know I got my 250 steps for the hour, and I've been sitting here. It's because I talk with my hands, I'm moving. So how perfectly perfect that this happened right now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I see. That's in the and this is my constant struggle is like when I'm prepping for a reading, when I'm meditating, when I'm doing I am cleaning, I am like all over the place because sitting still and quieting my mind are two things that for me just typically don't don't go well.
SPEAKER_02And you drive, like when we were in class together, I would start preparing how many weeks, and you're like, Carissa, I'm not even there yet. And I'm like, if I my AHD, if I don't, I get overwhelmed and I shut down, I can't do anything. See, but Stacy can wait until the and she is just like a robot and gets in there the first the writing and researching.
SPEAKER_01It's because for me, like whenever it comes to like writing papers, because that that's what you're talking about. We would have our final papers that would be like 15 to 20 pages long. If I try to put things together like weeks in advance, for me, my because my brain doesn't operate that way, it becomes very overwhelming. And I'm not sure what belongs to what. But if I sit down, collect everything at once and write and give myself the full day to write the paper. I I honestly, every every single one that I've turned in, even in my PhD program, have pretty much been A's and B's.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and I think it's important for our listeners. If you have ADHD, there's no right, wrong, good, or bad. You have to work with your brain. Stacy and I are an example. We function differently, but we both have it.
SPEAKER_01But we had to learn how we function. And that's that's the key piece. Is sometimes it is hard for me, even if it's due by midnight tonight. Sometimes it's still hard for me to sit down and write. But then I go, okay, I have the due date. I need to do it. And then I sit down and I like literally just hone in.
SPEAKER_00So what feels like procrastin procrastination for so many people is like you're saving grace that you're you're racing against the clock, and that's when you work best.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it really is. And and it's like I I mean, I'm trying to get better and not do that because I find that the more I procrastinate too, sometimes things come up that need my attention that are not school based. And so that becomes challenging. So I'm trying to find a like a medium. Like if it's due tonight by midnight, I'm gonna have it written yesterday and it's gonna be turned in. So I give myself that like 24-hour like yeah, wiggle room in case something does come up because that has happened.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and I love how we throw psychology and stuff in and mental health in with the these podcasts. I think because it's important because again, we're talking about balancing the spiritual and the human shit.
SPEAKER_01And really realistically, balancing the human and the spiritual shit is about learning your your human shit.
SPEAKER_02Yes, you want to get more spiritual, you want that intuition to flow more. You got to work with your human brain, work with your human shit and figure that out. It comes in more clearly.
SPEAKER_00Yes, but remember too, like when life gets really hectic and you have so much going on, your guides are never gonna give you, or the universe is never gonna give you more than you can handle. So if things quiet down there, just remember because I've fallen victim to this so many times, it's all still there, it hasn't gone away. They're just giving you a break and embrace the break, even though you're worried about the other. Just trust, trust the universe, press yourself.
SPEAKER_01They hit the mute button for you. They just they kind of do, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay, that's a good way to put it. Yeah, yeah, I like that.
SPEAKER_00I like that a lot. And Stacey, I was gonna say too, after your surgery, I know you didn't slow down completely, but I will assure everybody that there were a couple meetings that we had that you didn't show up to because you were taking that time for yourself. And I considered that a huge win, even though I missed seeing your lovely face, I took that as a win for you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, those days I was not feeling well. It took me like two weeks after being under anesthesia to feel normal again. It's my biggest complaint. I don't like anesthesia and I don't do super well under anesthesia. Um, but for about two weeks post surgery, I would get very tired doing like the simplest tasks. So I had to make sure that I was balancing what needed to be done and what was, you know, an option, which is why you guys didn't see me because I was, you know, using my energy for the needed to be done as opposed to the wanted to be done.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That makes a lot of sense. I think this is a subject that'll probably flow through all of our episodes because again, we are human, we are spiritual, we're a spirit having a human experience. So this is kind of the starting point. This is ground zero, and then we'll just keep bringing it up. And next week, like what are we gonna talk about, ladies? What we're talking about about being made fun of. Oh yeah. We don't even have to dress up like clowns to be made fun of. We just have to be ourselves, and people who don't understand are uncomfortable sometimes, and they use humor or take cheap shots.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't know how better to put it. It's gonna be I guess with that we can close out with a nice stay classy, everybody. Stay sassy.
SPEAKER_00Stay badassy.
SPEAKER_02Bye, guys. Love you guys. Have a great week, and you can see that.
